your correct mate when talking about the league comparisons.england is massive compared to scotland.the funny thing is its only since sky started pumping millions into them that we have really noticed the gap.it was only 7 years ago we put liverpool and blackburn out on their own patches on the way to the final.followed by beating man u to qualify for champions league last 16

I haven't done this before and don't really like going off rumours but its one of them my dads mates cousin stories im afraid, anyway apparently my dar's mates was talking to Bellamy briefly and he jokingly asked him to join us, apparently Bellamy replied with "I would jump at the chance pal" Like I say I honestly don't know how much truth is in this but just what I have been told, maybe Bellamy just waiting on Lenny who is in turn waiting for the McGeady funds

I just think there is loads of fans betting on Bellamy joining us so the boookies are lowering the odds

    Why are they betting ?

There's been no speculation from his or city's end. Only up here.

Put any Championship team in the SPL and they wouldn't finish 1st or 2nd. With the chance of winning medals and Europe every year aswell as playing in one of the biggest football fixtures on the planet, i think Bellamy knows what the better option is.

    Good point from bhoy1der

Exactly, most of these players came from the SPL teams. What often happens as well is, talents get brought to the Old Firm when they're young so other clubs may well have given them their break in football.

    * sake, some of the * coming from that GUEST "bluebird" is a joke. I say guest as he is blatantly a Cardiff fan on a Celtic forum. To talk down our league is a joke. At least our league has champions league representatives, unlike the Welsh league, which is obviously crap as your team doesn't even play in it. As someone else quite rightly pointed out, our league is only small in comparison to the EPL, as we border wach other. Compare it to countries with similar populations and we are miles ahead.

As for Bellamy, I hope the board push the boat out to get him, as he is a quality player. I'm not for one minute saying neglect the GK and LB, but with Bellamy, the situation would be a lot rosier.

Lenny has said he wants to bring at least one big name in, it's time for the board to deliver, opportunities like this don't come around too often
