Face it, if the board and Lenny weren't trying to get players like Bellamy and Keane back up here - even if it's a long shot - then they wouldn't be doing their jobs. A transfer + wages for Bellamy is out of our price range, but a loan deal imo wouldn't look much different from the one we offered Bullard and so is definately within our budget.

I didn't like the fact that Riordan was into cocaine. It was for the good of Celtic that Strachan punted him. A troublemaker, and you can't have that. Strachan achieved great things with discipline. This guy couldn't take it. Out!
McGeady-I don't like him because of his ˝performances˝ on the pitch. He'd be the first to go, if I was the manager. Incidents just worsen things.

The other thing that makes me optimistic is that if Man City were willing to loan out a £32M signing to Santos in Brazil then there's always a chance they'll do the same with Bellamy to us.

Really can't see them selling to Spurs as they'll see them as potential rivals although they could be willing to let him go to Fulham.

On his attitude, I haven't read him having any problems since the incident with Riise since then he's been a proper pro, which he also was while he was here. Like Rab said as well, what Hartson did to Berkovic and the Boruc/Naylor incident is just as bad - if not worst as they actually laid hands on their team mates while Bellamy just threatened him - so can't see the witch hunt against him coming back.

 

Would take him back in a min class player but just cant see us getting him tbh

 

if a deal is possible i'm sure the board will sanction the financial outlay to secure his services.

You can't have a team full of angels. If Bellamy win us the league and acted like a * of the pitch, it's his own reputation tbh not Celtic's. Also if he is as bad as your making out then everyone will expect it. For me i would love this guy to come back:icon_mrgreen:.

 

bellamy is a quality player and i spose to be honest he speaks his mind which some people find insulting / cheeky but he would be a fine signing if he came
