A True Celtic supporter would not have celebrated the way McDonald celebrated.

Bellamy was a class act in those 5 months, absolutely superb player. His pace was incredible, and his explosiveness in and about the box, he could score 25 30 yarders with either foot. His goal against Aberdeen will always stick with me. I was gutted when he never signed, he could've been a Celtic legend if he stayed for a good few years. He chased the dollar though and I lost respect for him, he ended up like the Welsh Jim Hamilton; the amount of clubs he played for. It does seen that he would've stayed if O'Neill never had to leave Celtic.

:56: I know! He was one of the worst, most immobile players I've ever seen. He ended up playing for just about every team in Scotland. He did score that Zidane like volley against us from about 25 yards though, I think that was the only good goal the guy scored haha.

that's true. I watched his interview on TV few years ago and he said some relatives were Celtic supports just like himself and some relatives were Huns. he said he was lucky to be one of the green-whites.

Was a joy to see that hat-trick left , right and header one of the best performances I have seen at Tannadice and I have been lucky to have seen a "few" over the years. Agreed no Celtic fan would ever celebrate like that as said compare to Henke when he scored at CP for Barca total class.

He didn't score a header in that game. Absolutely stunning though.

I don't miss that song being everywhere :56:

I loved Bellamy. Another one that could have been a legend if things had been a bit different. I still think he would have stayed up here if we had the funds available

McDonald kind of made up for Black Sunday in his spell here. His numerous goals against the scum, his European goals and his all round hit-rate were top notch.

Anyway, as for Bellamy the guy oozed quality. Shame he couldn't stay for longer.

Would you have celebrated the goals the way he did if you were in his shoes?

I also remember the * of a referee booking Bellamy for his celebration after his goal at ibrokes.

He didn`t leave the pitch, taunt the crowd or nothin, he just dropped to his knees & clenched his fists and the * ran over and yellow carded him. Probably also said to him "welcome to Scotland ya welsh * *." :smiley-laughing002:

He would have got his move whether he had ran about going daft or not after scoring. My main point is, he said he was a Celtic supporter and grew up as one, if that is the case, the way he carried on was disgusting from a so called Celtic fan. Just my opinion on the matter.
