lenny said he is trying to ad to the striker roster, so maybe he's interested in sammon

 

Would prefer for us to go for someone else but if Sammon ends up with us come 11 o'clock tonight then i'll welcome him with open arms.

It will be someone like Wigan or W.B.A trying to get him for something like £600k..

Even then he'd have to consider is it worth taking a 5 month stint in the premiership , or just sitting tight and then coming to Celtic for nothing in the summer..

Either way I hope he dictates what happens and not Kilmarnock that do it..

Aye , a read that somewhere too but I`ve spoke too a few Killie fans and they say his contract was up at the end of this season (thought when he signed his deal was only for 2 years). Kilmarnock have been attempting to offer a new contract since before Christmas.

 

18months left on his contract.

It's the way Kilmarnock are being so dismissive of the £425k bid from Derby that tells me he's definately got plenty time left on his contract..

It's this Link a week ago that Sammon was quoted as saying

"I've got 18 months left on my deal and I'm happy to stay at Kilmarnock until the summer at least as I've never tried to get a move away".
