    That's a shame that.

No doubt some people will say she deserved it for "choosing" to drink.

I thought this was going to be about someone dying mid show. Choking on a potato or something.

Anyway, that's a shame. Alcohol addiction is tragic :54:

    RIP

Death at 38 is terrible, she looked well for 38 also. Alcoholism is a horrible disease to engulf anybody and can take over their life very easily. Although there was also a mental health aspect to consider also, if only she had got the support and help she badly needed.

Not that often you hear of women alcoholics, my das cousins an alkie, she lives in Liverpool although shes a "functioning alcohlic" as she calls herself, she has a good job and nice house but drinks red wine and vodka every day. Tried to quit a few times but it never lasts.

I find that really interesting (although its a sad topic). There is definitely a psychology dissertation to be had regarding the subject of 'functioning alcoholics' and the rising number of professionals who are alcoholics.

My dads mates mum :)smiley-laughing002:) was a manager in the job centre (decent pay) and yet was a raging alcoholic. Fired after she eventually got caught drunk at work.

She works for a company(which is owned by her sister) so she probably wont ever get sacked unless she goes off the rails(mad to say about someone who drinks maybe 10 times the recommended amount every day haha). She doesnt get pure blootered every day but has a half bottle of vodka for breakfast every day and will take bottles of coke half filled with vodka around with her, when she goes home from work she drinks bottles of red wine as shes been doing it that long she doesnt get that drunk. I dont know her that well only met her a few times but she seems to drink just to become normal not to get steamin. Shes really loud as well and always has been so I dont think people know she drinks as much as she does apart from family like people at her work havent a clue shes been tanning vodka at 8am.

She must spend about £100 odd a week on drink. Weird as * how you can get hooked onto something like that, drinking to her must be like smoking or eating chocolate or drinking coffee to other people.
