All the best to him, hopefully he can hit the ground running.

My worry is where he fits into this team. Deila won't go with 2 up top, and surely you can't drop Griffiths domestically. He seems to have the understanding that he's been brought in as a striker and not as a winger, and since he's been speaking to Deila then you can only believe that's what Deila sees him as primarily also.

Will be interesting to see how this one pans out.

If he help us get into champion league he be masterstroke. But our record in striker market lately has been joke. Only hooper and stokes and griff has done well over past 6 years. Alot duds signed and money wasted. Has this guy signed on free

Him and Cole up front certainly gives us option. He can play as a good alternative to one or two lightweight guys, but he'll need a run of games. Hopefully he's fit. Certainly says the right things and this is a bigger move for him than it is for Celtic. That's a good thing. Later in their career, they've had hassles and just want to play football. Maybe start to realize this is it, last chance to do something unexpected. We always end up with mad guys who've had their knocks, but here's hoping this guy offers something different. Bit more beef up top and two years with Cole and Griffiths.

That just leaves the Summer to fix up the defense and we can afford to be picky about who we sign.

Totally against this signing.pointless.reminds me of the scott allan and carlton cole signings.

But i hope he does well and try and look at the positives. He has played in a lot of good leagues turkey, holland, france, greece, england. And played for some big clubs feyernoord, olympciaos, fenerbache, galatasaray and to a lesser extent blackburn.37 caps for turkey isnt too shabby either.

Might be a lubo marovcik type signing where nobody is expecting anything and he turns out great.

Aye that is the plan :50: Feyenoord fans trying to help us out a lot there.

He looks a good shape physically, powerful and quick, could be really good in the SPL at least.

I have no idea how he's going to be played though. Ciftci usually started up front himself. Doubt that's Ronny's plan. I get the feeling RD must've seen him and thought he would be perfect for some tactical play. Just seems too random a signing to play him on his own.

I very much doubt he'll be played on Wednesday. Too big a game.

It's a strange situation, really. We play with one striker and I doubt that will change, so no matter how much we all want a striker, Griffiths will not be dropped given how he's done this season.

Yet I doubt we're signing CKR to sit on the bench. Maybe he'll be shoved out wide...

Seems like a sort of Guidetti type player. Quite physical but has some skill as well. Likes wee flicks here and there.

Mind you, Guidetti has a good scoring record.

Saw his interview. In my opinion, the guy has a great mentality, which makes me want to see him play now. Really want him to succeed now seeing that interview saying he is a "winner"
Good luck to the man, hope he does well.

If he's fit I'd expect him to be on the bench. Won't start, of course.
