    I actually don't think it would be so bad having Mulgrew up against McGeady, yes Aiden is very quick and skilful, but remember him and Mulgrew came through the youth team together. Charlie will know his game inside out.
    One option could be to drop Ledley:
    Forster
    Lustig Ambrose Wilson Izaguirre
    Brown Kayal Mulgrew
    Samaras Commons
    Hooper​
    Same team as played in Moscow but with Kayal in for Wanyama. Ledley could also come in for Kayal there.

    IMO both Ledley and Kayal have to play on Wednesday.

    Ledley has been average for ages. Not saying he shouldn't play but he escapes criticism more than most in our team.

    Would like to see Lassad play but that would mean either dropping Sammy or one of Brown/Ledley/Kayal and there's no way Lennon will do that. Good we have so few players missing - I think we'll go through to the last 16.

    I agree to a certain extent that Ledley hasn't hut his heights of last season recently but he is a big game player and games don't get much bigger than this.

    Just spotted my mistake Matthews instead of Izzaguire

    Same team for me,maybe Matthews in for izzy if he's not 100%

    Bring watt and lassad on if were not winning by 60mins.

    But brown will play,tbh don't think a game like this suits

    I think is the formation we'll see, but on based on past selections I think Lenny will choose Ledley over Kayal. Personally I'd prefer Kayal - he's on top form at the moment.

    I wouldnt play Commons, he gets shut down and falls over the ball too much against SPL sides. Spartak have really good hard-working midfielders similar to us... De Zeeuw, Carioca, Kallstrom, Romulo(injured I think?) and Kombarov and they'll be all over him. Especially if hes on the right hed be up against Kombarov who is solid and quick.

    I agree, but Commons has - after Forster and Mulgrew - had more starts than any other player this season (regardless of his actual performances, but that's an issue for another thread) and therefore I think it's a certainty that he'll start against Spartak.

    Attack. Although I wouldn`t start him because it is far too big a risk, Broony is almost certainly going to start. Kayal is a must start
