He has a grudge against Gordon for some strange reason

 

Big Sutty gives him credit when it's due though, CG never came out like that before Brendan he's trying to hard to impress with the sweeper keeper role

 

He does go on but he's still my hero.....was the most refreshing listen in a long time when he hauled the fat one over the coals on Clyde a while back.......the fat roaster had every chance to defend himself to his comments and claims and couldn't defend a solitary one......all we got was 'i don't like you', 'i don't respect you', 'that's a lot of tosh'....haha we're still waiting!!!

All questions we wanted to ask but would have got nowhere close!!

Anyone on twitter should get on to Sutton about Derek Rae and where that Broony outburst came from earlier..

 

That was so strange, why did he suddenly start saying Brown gets away with a lot of yellows? After about 5 times with no response he upped the ante by saying other teams have mentioned it too Sutton seemed almost puzzled having to point out the obvious "well other teams are going to say that Derek"

 

I could imagine Sutton being quite like that in real life

 

It was an outburst you'd associate with someone hurting. A hun hurting. Gms copped it and nothing happened so he was already beelin bud..

Strange for the main pundit to come away with forward outbursts like that. He's done plenty now..

Sutton was taken aback and after arguing that Broony probably deserved a yellow, he spoke over Rae saying well I dunno about that when he was spewing about what the Huns say!.

Don't know why our fan's don't see it with Rae. He ALWAYS digs us out, and is always complimentary or positive about everything else, as he should be promoting and doing punditry on our game..

I have to admit I've not noticed it before but I definitely noticed it was weird in the Thistle game. Oh the poor guy, if he is hurting then it must really wind him up when Sutton keeps mentioning how much we've improved under Brendan and how bad the huns and Warbuton are Especially after the last two seasons.

Was a bit like Craigan going into a rage about Cathro, I mean his blood was boiling Mind you Sutton did say "jealousy, he's better qualified than you Craigan"

He's always catching Currie off guard too. When Currie said Aguero is getting sent off a lot, do you think Pep is going to put up with that? And Sutton says "are you mad? He's one of the best players in the world and you think Guardiola is going to get rid of him for getting sent off twice?" Poor Darrel got some riddy trying to say that's not what he meant then when Hatton said "I think Chris will know more about being a striker than me" Currie comes out with 'oh I wouldn't be so sure Ricky'.

I'm starting to understand why Derek Johnstone was so wound up, he's been behaving himself and saying what he's told to for 20 years. It must be so alien to him Sutton speaking his mind like that "I can't believe I'm even talking to you tonight. I'm disgusted with myself. I turn the volume down when you're on TV."

Love Sutton, best pundit on TV.

 

Class the way big Sutton just stares right into Craigans eyes in those wee head to head videos so composed and calm when he's giving out pelters, never loses the head even when he's on a rant, which are usually spot on anyway.
