I'd go along with that mostly. McManaman obviously doesn't really give a flying * so went with the "oh 2 keeper mistakes so THIS GAME WAS LITTERED WITH MISTAKES" rant. Lazy tired summation.

I thought Sutton really had to go against the grain to praise us at times but mostly he just thought "McManaman's set the tone here, may as well hop on board."

I think BT hiring those two is a massive turn off for the fans. Was the defending THAT bad? For the 3 millions times they mentioned it they never showed any "bad defending." Just Gordon chucking in a couple. What's the defence meant to do about that?

Good point about Mcmanaman saying "from the stats I've read" etc. He obviously knows and cares * all for our game in general.

One minute we "should be beating Inter Milan" and the next minute we have to "cut out the mistakes when you are playing superior opposition like Inter."

All over the shop. Such a shame after an amazing performance (in context.)

No one needs us to tell us we are magic, but a balanced opinion might be good to hear. Steve McManaman actually said Celtic should be beating Inter Milan. Think about that for a few seconds (if you don't reach the other end of the aquarium by then and forget.)

So you want balanced opinion not the truth ? They both said we should have turned over inter tnite were they wrong ? Maybe its hard to believe that we have a right to be better than inter given the money we have compared to them but that doesn't mean he has to be wrong in what he said , right now they are struggling and he called that imo

He was being over critical. The way he was putting things was starting to sound spiteful! No one is looking for smoke to be blown up our arses. The number of people who noticed this and the fact you haven't to me tells me you're just not very good at reading people. You didn't pick up on the way he said things or the context in which he said them. He was clearly being completely over critical verging on aggressive with us tonight.

I'm glad I was there and didn't have to put up with the *. I loved Sutton, what a brilliant player he was. Why does he have to be a * to us though?

Its getting to the point now where Celtic fans should let it be known to BT Sport that they'll cancel their subscriptions if that * is allowed to spill his bitter bile to the nation any longer.

Not against free speech or criticism but this * is beyond a joke now. Get him to * off our screens or they can shove their BT Sport up their *.

Look what do call over critical ? Is it telling the truth ? I honestly couldn't give a toss about Sutton as a person or ex -player , I just think he called it correct when he described our performance !! Poor at the back which he also said we have been all season in Europe , is he wrong with that take ? He said we deserved to win tonight and that Armstrong and mackay -steven done great in their first home game for us , is that wrong ? He also said we could go through and hoped we would , how about that ? Im just saying people appear to be disappointed with what he said in his takes about the game but I thought they were correct !! He even pointed out how big a disadvantage we are at playing in this league then trying to take on good teams from far stronger leagues !! I just honestly cant see why all the hate other than he wasn't lavishing heaps of praise on us !!

Don't care if he's critical of the team I just think him picking on Deila is ridiculous. Anyone who has any decent understanding of football can see what he's trying to do here. *, our team was battering on until the end tonight while Inter Milan's £10m/£15m players were dead on their feet.

I don't know why he hates him. Was he in for the job ? Is it to do with Lennon ?

Cant stand Sutton. Definately seems to have something against Ronny.Straight after the game the first thing he mentioned was the negatives....when we had just came back from two down against a good side and had just scored a last minute goal. Then to criticise the team for going to the fans...Give it a rest Chris!

    It needs to be said:

Chris Sutton is a massive c'nt.

    No way around it.

He wanted us to lose tonight and was bitter that we got a result.

    Obvious.

Watched a bit of it when we got home after their game. Couldn't believe the negativity from him and McManaman.

I'll always respect him for what he did in a Celtic shirt, but he talks absolute *. No interest in what he has to say. John Hartson is nowhere near as bad imo.

Sutton is stuck in 2000, he expects the same results MON's would have got, and compares players with that treble team. Scottish football is nowhere near what it was, he has to realise that.
