Yea, last season i think he needed his hole. Was a total * at any given opportunity. Way over the top with his criticism of a new manager trying to apply a completely different philosophy to a flailing bunch of chubby funsters. Glad to say it appears he has spent the summer baw deep in the woman's Brazilian volleyball team because he's pepped up big time (at least as far as the Reverend I Am Sutty could) and is sprinkling in some on the money commentary. And even though he is still a big Tim at heart, I like that he's pretty unbiased in his reading of the game.

Thoroughly enjoying hearing him during games. Just shows that even with his dulcet tones you can still come across well in commentary. Take note Phil Neville :56:

Seriously though. He's been really refreshing and yeah, unbiased too.

He's a good pundit/commentator. As has been said, he just says it like it is and he's a good laugh.

Did you as him for a personal apology for saying Aberdeen were a threat to us last season?

Been pleasantly surprised by his commentating, it's been excellent and quite balanced. Compare it to last year and it's night and day, and refreshing. Thank * Gary McAllister is replaced..

He's most certainly a better commentator than a pundit.

His commentary has been very fair in the games I've watched.

He's a great commentator it must be said.

Last season he was over the line with some of the things he said, but I put that down to him trying to be controversial for his column or whatever he had at the DR. Heard from someone who knows him that he's skint.

He seemed to change tact after his interview with Ronny. Think they struck up a bit of rapport and it is evident from his commentary he isn't the stereotypical angry ex player anymore.

Thank * because I love him and it was so exhausting having to hate him.

Yeah he's certainly been bigging up Celtic and Deila.

As a player, magnificent player, part of the best forward line I've ever saw.

Suttons awesome, always agree with what he has to say about the game and the team, not so much when he was on Ronnies back mind, and he's so suave on Sky an all. :50:

Sutton's turned it around big time. He's had a better come back than when Larsson broke his leg.

I reckon he could be a good coach for us in the future if he were ever interested. He knows his stuff and would definitely boot a few arses after a first half performance like tonight.

Absolutely, he wouldn't take any pish in the dressing room, show them how to * defend a ball. Our team a bunch of useless spineless *, our manager as well.
