    Naw, but he's made a bit of a * of himself by contradicting everything he's been saying about this team and Ronny. Plus his'nae the baws tae admit he got it wrong in the first place

    Exactly. The fact he's already backtracking so quickly just undermines his opinion in the first place and makes people less likely to believe what he's saying.

    It is pretty cringey seeing someone like that just changing their tune over night, particularly when he came across so anti-Deila, now he's up his *. Guys a moron.

    Nah, he's not.

    Just because he thinks we have a shoddy defence doesn't mean he can't have other opinions about the team.

    * are far too touchy.

    Sutton - "Before the game, I genuinely thought the John Guidetti goal in stoppage-time at Celtic Park had given Deila’s team a real chance to go through"

    Anyone who listened to him after the game last week knows he said the exact opposite

    "When they went 2-0 down to Salzburg before Christmas, they showed a resolve and a will to get back into the game where far more experienced teams would have gone under"
    didn't say anythis after the Salzburg game either! point I'm making hear is he had nuthing good to say about us when things weren't going great for us and we where in need of some support of guys like him, now all of a sudden when we're doing better he's all praise.

    Aye! he's pretty good it highlighting all the negatives so why not say at the time we showed "resolve" after all he apparently thought that so why not say it at the time. Never highlights the positives and finds it impossible to give a balanced opinion

    Thought he was quite rightly slating a * and naive defence. There's no point pundits pretending we're something we're not.

    The problem is when * start talking nonsence for the purpose of attention, Sutton has probably been doing that thats why * are raging. No better than Keevins or Hartson or Andy * when they start that.

    He finally realized that his constant and unfair criticism was becoming totally ridiculous and that his reputation was going down the drain because of it.

    He had to turn around to save the remains of his credibility, so he did.

    But he will be watching and waiting for his chance to strike again!!! :smiley-laughing002:

    I always remember his bitter comments after Helicopter Sunday when he said Killie had obviously lay down to Rangers.

    I think he said the same about the Pars a few years earlier also.

    That's some memory you've got. The Huns played Hibs on Helicopter Sunday.

    Surely everyone could see not only Chris Sutton but everyone on BT Sport had changed their tune about Celtic after the Celtic fans contacted them "in their droves" about the negativity after the 3-3 game against Inter. The presenter was going out of his way to salute Celtic "brilliant performance" in the San Siro, which I though was a bit OTT. So obvious he had been told by higher management to quit with the negative bullshit....* shameful these clowns have to be told they are being arseholes before they stop talking *.
