I'd still get rid of Miller first. Out of all the so called duds I'd keep Magic. He's at least shown some sort of sign he's a footballer compared to Miller, Beattie, Gravesen, Jarosik, etc etc

I still think the 4 main strikers would be JVOH, McDonald, Zurawski, and the big name we're waiting for. Killen would be cover for JVOH, and anyone else would be on the sidelines in my view.

aye so does that mean deeks will be leaving aswell i guess, coz he certainly aint gonna get a game now, and personally i think that deeks is better than mcdonald and killen. if we dont get a top quality striker ill go round the bend:47:

To be honest I don't think Riordan will figure in the striking role next season, he is a great finisher but better than Killen and McDonald? I'm not so sure. The big name striker will arrive don't you worry.

ok ill believe u:84::86:. and anyways i dont see where riordan fits in, even tho mcgeadys recent form has been poor, he doesnt offer the same as mcgeady on the left hand side. i think riordan offers more than killen, tbh, deeks can produce something special, ur hardly ever gonna see killen skin his marker and score a screamer of a goal. well if he is killen the kiwi is only warming the bench i will have no complaints as he didnae cost anythin. hey do yous reckon the gers were looking at killen before we signed him:84:

Your right Killen will be on the bench more often than not. He will be cover for big Jan. IMO Riordan and McGeady will compete for the starting role of wide left next season with JVOH and the new striker up front with McDonald and Zurawski as back up.

Hopefully this will mean Beattie Miller Zurawski will be out the door and Alexander Frei will be brought in :50:

Overall decent signing 13 goals is the same as big Jan and hes also been injured :celt_2:

    killen to sign for celtic

Newsnow Celtic have a few pieces saying its a done deal. Reasonable player on a Bosman but not what we are looking for. Hope this is just a target man to cover for JVOH and not his 1st choice partner. If its true then WGS must think Sheridan is not ready to be JVOH's backup. He may be right but Sheridan is an exceptional young player who is likely to be ready in a years time. Hope Killens just a 2 year contract. Personally, if we are looking at that sort of end of the market I would have prefered Gary O'Connor who is a bit more mobile.

I don't think Killen is all that bad a signing tbh.Backup for Jan.He's free and we do need a 2nd target man that's for sure. It's still May and we have signed the most promising midfielder in the counttry and the 2nd and the 4th highest scorer in the SPL which is the bread and butter obviously he is not CL standard but can defo a job in the SPL.

Still if it's the last striker signed this summer i would be worried.Let's look outside of Edinburgh Strachan, and Park

Killen is a no bad striker he will be able to do it in the spl he would have been the spl's top scorer if he hadn't got injured.

Killen on bosman is a good buy

Whatever happened to the worldwide scouting network? Maybe their passports have run out and all the scouts are back home

I'm perfectly happy with this, good player with the potential to get better at a bigger club. Free. Back up for JVoH, but ambitious enough to push the big man for a place & hopefully put the pressure onto JVoH to perform well & stay fit for 10 games.
Also frees up more money for other areas of the team to be strengthened.
We need to make some room in the squad though, especially up front.
I'd hope to get him on a 4 year deal, so as we can flog him if it doesn't work out, or keep him on the cheap if it does!!
