Exactly, just having him around would inspire the players, and the fans would love him here too.

As much as I don't think it'll actually happen, it would be fantastic.

I'm not sure it will either, but also just in terms of more PR it would be incredible.

We've appointed a top class manager, if we also brought in a Celtic legend to assist him, there would be an almost euphoric feeling amongst the support.

No chance Lennon comes here to play no.2, after four years as manager and getting to the last 16 etc.

I'm not too sure about that, he might not have many offers. Maybe he would see that as a foot in to take back the job when Rodgers eventually left?

I'd take lenny in a heartbeat as no 2...I think he would as well ...it's not as if he's working under a new manager..he's working under a great and could also learn a lot...and if rodgers happens to go in the future lenny would steer the ship...

    Henke would love also..

Lenny here as a number 2 isn't an option.

Hope his backroom staff aren't high-profile names so that complete emphasis is on Brendan. Henrik or Lennon would be overbearing.

I really can't imagine Lennon wanting to be assistant at the club he already successfully managed. Wouldn't make any sense to me.

Would be a sensible move for Lennon. Can only learn more working under a guy like Rodgers, plus when the time comes that he moves on Lenny will be in a great position to take over. Which he's obviously desperate for.

You can't have a situation where, lets be honest, the manager getting sacked is beneficial to the Assistant, and seen as an opportunity to get the job he really wants. It would also create tension between Brendan and Neil Lennon if there's a bad string of results/strong disagreements.

Understand both sides of that argument, if it was to happen then Lennon would have to agree to be number 2 and respect that role, and Rodgers would have to want Lennon to be there and not 'forced' on him like Collins for Ronny.

Lennon must realise that if he wants to be at Celtic that badly he has to respect that he's not the first choice for manager, he still has a lot to learn despite being fairly successful here.

Giggsy for me vast experience with Mong U and he'll be * off that The Spasticated one has got the Manager job ahead of him so maybe a possibility

(Cue the slagging and put downs HH)

If Lennon was willing to come in and work as No. 2 and do the role properly, I think it's a shrewd move with a view to having him as Rodgers' successor.

Lennon has a lot of abilities as a manager, which is why he did such a great job for us here - but he does still have a lot to learn.

Deila implemented some good things at Celtic. The general fitness & nutrition, and the approach to injuries. Just look at the improvement in Forrest & Lustig in particular. Also, the work he did with the academy.

This is something Rodgers will definitely continue. If Lennon is around to learn all that stuff, he'll be a better manager for it.

Steve Clarke. Knows and loves the club and has a rep for liking (and achieving) a solid defence.
