Aye, I have. Was directed to Jamie Hamill and El Hadj Diouf right enough but I have heard it.

What you're saying I file under criticism. Not under abuse to be honest.

    Yes. :97:

I assume you don't remember the late 80s?

Not even the 80's mate, it still happens. Just not on a widespread scale.

Yeah but it was pretty widespread back then. All grounds in the UK had problems with it then.
It's usually only isolated incidents now or wankstains on Twitter.
Back then it was a stadium full of inflatable bananas and monkey noises.

Aye, something that a lot of folk like to "forget" about.

Or as is more the case they weren't even born.

History has a habit of leaving out the bad bits.

Been awful for Celtic this season but impressed me tonight against some of the best in the world. Wonder what has changed in his role at Celtic that has him struggling so much.

Has to Press more. Can't Handle it. Not got the Intensity of a Ledley, Brown, Kayal or Johansen.

I don't think he was that great last season, either, though...

Was better tonight because he had men around him and wasn't asked to press the player on the ball therefore not exposing his lack of pace. As always for me, he is decent on the ball but overall as is symptomatic of him this season he is far too rash and his decision making is suspect. Hope he gets back to his consistency of the last few seasons.

I would love to come on here and say that he played well last night for Scotland.

However I'm not fooled - the players around him made him look good and he was sleeping for the second goal and although he should never have got the red card he was still a bit daft to get it.

Hopefully he starts playing a bit better for Celtic this season.

Charlie doesn't have the legs to play in the midfield and looked out on his feet last night !

He was blowing out his * at the second goal, everyone recognised this, he could barely keep up, which is more noticeable due to his lack of pace.

The kicking the ball at goal was just silly. Whether that was down to a combination of tiredness and the feeling of dejection with the refereeing decisions, who knows, but he played as hard as he could last night, against World Champions in the middle of the park, lets not forget. For a player with his limited ability in terms of the Germans, he done fantastically well, only to let himself down at the end, with nothing more than petulance.

    Ever the hard critique lol

2 in midfield and no Scott Brown really.

Agree he was good for Scotland last night though. Unlucky with his disallowed goal as well, was some finish.

Mate for all we played brilliantly second half, Mulgrew was the only one in our midfield three whose close control and passing under pressure looked comfortable at that level (I'm asuming Fletcher lacks match fitness TBF). Visibly tiring towards the end, though.

Second goal was a comedy of errors, Mulgrew could have reacted quicker but I don't see that goal as being his fault.

He has been truly awful for Celtic this season. I had thought it was lost form but last night casts major doubt on that explanation IMO. I hate to say it, because he is one of our best players, but maybe the people saying he can't play Deila's system are right.:54:
