I wonder if that's why he got the huff? Because he wasn't 100% and was rushed into playing, and then got, another injury on his first game back from a 6 month lay off.
He was probably * annoyed with the management team at having (possibly) been made to play due to our other suspensions and injuries, and getting * again.
I know if it was me coming back and being made to play then getting injured again I'd be * fuming too.

I've been wrong plenty times, in this instance people allowed the fact they were (rightly) * off to dish out unwarranted abuse to someone for being injured.

If anyone thinks there was even a remote chance that he was raging at Allan and stormed off the park then they are deluded beyond belief. Embarrassing stuff.

He should have stayed on the sidelines though, he's admitted that himself.

Obviously he was injured and needed to go off, but for one reason or another he was absolutely in a huff and that's simply not good enough. Even a small applause and standing on the touchline for 2 minutes would've been enough.

I seen a few foreign journalists laughing at how he walked off. Of course they knew he was injured, but even they could see the manner in which he went off.

I couldn't actually see it myself to be honest.

I didn't think he should have come on though and that was proved right.

I think what we know of Mulgrew and what he's done for the club in the past people should know what type of character he is.

That was * disgusting last night.

More often than not, if a player is injured they will go straight down the tunnel, especially if it's a serious one. If it's just a knock etc then an ice pack sat in the dugout will suffice. Given how gutted he woulda been and perhaps a little embarrassed at getting injured again so quick, I get why he did what he did.

I got a little caught up in it last night with the rage and thought all sorts. This explanation is enough for me. :50:

Agreed. The reaction of some on here without knowing what had happened was * embarrassing.

No it wasn't, it was understandable given the circumstances.

It wasn't really. When a player leaves the field and goes straight down the tunnel with zero reaction or sign of confusion from any of the coaching staff on the bench it's pretty * stupid to assume that he's fallen out with a teammate and stormed off.

When a player comes of injured a coach or member of staff would usually go towards him to get clarification on the injury or show some empathy with the injured player.

It wasn't stupid to assume he had an argument with a teammate, as he had an argument with a team mate before he walked up the tunnel.

How many players would have sat on the sidelines in that instance?

The Manager has zero issue with it, the fans do purely because we were beat and put out of Europe.

Completely unfair, in what way did he 'act like a *'?

By running straight up the tunnel with a total disregard for what he was leaving behind. He admitted this himself.

So, because this didn't happen you assumed Mulgrew had taken the unprecedented step of jeopardising his Celtic career by simply walking off the field of play because of what? He was in the huff? He's a coward? He's a *?

Yes, it was stupid. Team mates argue all the time after they concede a goal, especially a late, game-changing goal.

Where has Mulgrew admitted he ran away with complete disregard for what he was leaving behind?
