I've seen him on political programmes quite regularly and he always speaks well. Haven't read any of his stuff though. Is it online or has he authored anything in print?

He's going to have hard time getting a game once Broon is back.
Brown & Johansen will be the center mids, with Kayal or Biton coming in for more defensive option (Euro away) in place of one of wingers.
I think Commons may also struggle to get in line-up. Scored some great goals for us, but doesn't really 'fit' in the system Ronny prefers. I think McGregor and Commons would both compete for the same spot - and McGregor offers a lot more on the ball.
That's going to be a tough call for the mgr - the one regarding Charlie, not so much.
Depending on form/injury, he might be back to left back as back-up for Izzy - or again, as more defensive full-back in Euro away (which might be a good shout - Izzy is fantastic going forward - not so much defensively!)

Yeah football is for the middle classes these days how dare anyone slag off a player for being an utter embarrassment

He deserved a long with the other players that night to get mugged of they were an embarrassment to every Celtic fan that night and in Europe in general this year * Charlie mulgrew and any other player that think their better than the fans or should be shielded from the views of ordinary common people

Mulgrew wouldn't be in my ideal starting eleven but I think its unacceptable for people to abuse players.

Did the fan hit him, that would have been crossing a line but him being unhappy at being abused verbally after that champions league campaign is part and parcel I'd be horrified if he the rest weren't abused, its just a non story

So... what kind of abuse? Racism against the likes of Efe? Maybe wishing cancer on Charlies children? or derogtary terms thrown at people like Izzy about where he's from? etc etc.

What's the line you draw at abuse or is everything in there lives fair game because they were * at kicking a ball about that night?
