I missed him very, very much last season. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come from him.

Played very well. Got exactly what you can expect from Mulgrew. Folk questioned his inclusion, yet he shown exactly why he was selected.

I dislike mulgrew in the celtic team... Lb izzy is better and mulgrew hasn't the pace, need a new lb though maybe anya... Cm we have much better n he always looks dodgy there, he's actually quite decent at cb but we've better there again and he's slow as *... He's brutal in Europe aswell. I know a lot won't agree with this but it's my opinion and I'll admit there is games where he does look good but that's only the case against * teams like Patrick thistle... Good squad player but every position he's suited in we have better

Mulgrew is very well suited for international football. Scotland are lucky to have him...and they finally seem to be realising that.

Saying that, his FK was something else! :56:

We'd be as well as chucking it if we signed Anya to play left back.

He provides cover at LB, CB & DM shouldn't start in any but worth keeping to provide said cover.

Bitton is nailed on to start he is very important to our system and Ronny & a JC are developing him into a special talent.

Great player to have in the squad. Never liked him when he first signed but how he improved.

Fantastic tonight, but can't help but think what he would have been like if he was against a quicker striker. Daryl Murphy isn't the quickest and Mulgrew was able to cope with him but unfortunately, I feel Mulgrew isn't quick enough to be a first choice CB and would be caught out so much in Europe against pacey strikers.

However, in the air he is completely dominant and strong. Would be our answer to a CB if he was just quicker.

He was fantastic last night, especially since he has played so little football recently. Delighted for him :50:

Hopefully, now that he's played at centre half for Scotland, and played at centre half when he came on the last two games of the season at Celtic, he will play there from now on. That's where he is best. Potentially Boyata & Mulgrew centre half pairing next season.

You can't drop Biton either, he was our best player post January last season imo. All our midfield are undroppable imo atm with the exception of the right wing position where GMS, Armstrong & Forrest are fighting for places.

Really hope Ronny doesn't drop Biton for the qualifiers and play VVD and Boyata at the back with Mulgrew coming in for Biton next to Brown. Please Ronny. Don't do it.

We'd need to play a centre back cover system to play Charlie. I hear boyata has great pace. If so then that's all you need to cover.

Other option is we play a deeper line which may happen in Europe. In the SPL Charlie could play as an auxiliary CDM stepping forward as we play most of our game in the oppositions final third.

We may be adaptable and use lustig at CB in Europe. There are both contrasting points to doing this but I'm just out my scratcher and I'm Fkn hungry so that's as far as I go wae this.

Otherwise we keep Virgil till January or sign another

Always been a class act at CB, hope to see more of him next season there. A ball playing centre back makes such a difference and we need one for Delia's system. Get Virgil to * - Charlie knows the Rebs too.
