There's a huge difference between criticism and being an absolute *

I agree. But sometimes if it talks, and smells like a hun, the chances are
    It is.

When someone gets derogatory about a Celtic player then they
Make themselves fair game in my eyes.
And just as An aside, Charlie doesn't pick himself, quite a few
    Professional managers have done that.

Mulgrew won't get into this midfield and rightly so, based on his performances there for us and compare that to how brown and Biton have performed for us there. He should be a left back to give izzy rest/competition and a centre half for when we inevitably lose vanDijk and/or Denayer.

    This 100%.
He has gained valuable experience at CL/International level, to just discard that would be mad.

Mulgrew has said himself previously he thinks cb is his best position. Now if he turned round and said 'am no playing in midfield' this forum would be going mental.

He's doing what the team needs and is getting personal abuse from a lot of people with short memories.

Such a bonus when he is fit . Can provide great cover at left back , centre back and in midfield. Could be a good option for us next season when we need an extra defensive midfielder in Europe or if we are protecting a lead . Good to have on the pitch with his set peice abilities and the fact he has a goal in him .

He has been training because he was in the videos on Celtic's youtube. Can't be long until we see him.

Yep, agree, good for his ability to move positions, I'm still not a huge fan of him in midfield and in the current set-up, not for me.

I'd have him in the defence and if he makes it his own, fair play. He was POTY at CH remember.

Wouldn't mind seeing a Bitton-Mulgrew centre midfield pairing get a chance.

Wouldn't say it would work tbh Mulgrew isn't fast enough to get around the pitch like Brown And would be a bit Risky playing 2 sitting midfielders would leave to much space in the middle no real link up either with the front 4 would be to reliant on Bitton's passing wouldn't mind trying him as a left winger or left back with him and izzy switching every few minutes if we get him into good enough positions he'll still do damage rather him just go back to center back though
