Don't like a player referring to "some wee ned calling himself a Celtic fan".

Is Mulgrew "calling himself a Celtic player"?

Part of me just expects better from our players than this high-and-mighty attitude via social media. No need for the cheek. He could have made his point without having a dig, and just comes across as as much of a * as the "wee ned(s)" throwing abuse at him.

He's every right to have a go, imo.

If - imagine the scene - you've walked outta CP and some wee squeeky * in a trakkie (clearly worn out) starts shouting abuse at ye "aw here youuu ya * * get tae * oot maaaaaa club ya * * ye" etc etc, aye, he probably is a manky wee neddy fuckpig.

Someof the followers of our team are * scummy *.......

I don't agree. Frustrated supporters and abuse from the peanut gallery are part of the modern game. Mulgrew knows this but thinks it's okay to play the 'ned' and the 'so-called Celtic fan' cards.

Would it have been more acceptable if the "wee ned" in question was shouting abuse in an Armani jacket and a £125 'sweater'?

Bhoys in tracksuits pay his wages.

Remember when Mulgrew was our fast defender when it was Rogne and Maj? :56:

Totally agree, but for the grace of * it could have been him standing in the tracksuit. He is also a 'so called' Celtic fan after all.

Anyone, whether in Dior or Diadora, who had a go at Mulgrew the other night, had every right to.

I'm confused your sticking up for Mulgrew and can only assume your calling him a fud?

Or are you saying Ian Donnelly is a fud for in my eyes calling it exactly right.

p.s. Some of those responses are great though, lol.

For those criticising the "wee ned" comment, if you act like a wee ned then that's exactly what you are going to get called!!

How do we know the 'ned' had a tracky on?

Could have been getting out a Bugatti with a £50k suit on and still be a * ned.

Its not that, its the fact that hes completley forgot who he was. Hes now a * footballer and a liability for us at any position. He isnt willing to accept criticism for his * performances but still act like hes a * of midfield.

Also, that "wee ned" is just as big a Celtic fan as me or you and to criticise him for the way he spoke or dressed is beyond hun.

Agree with you to a certain extent, just dont agree with abusing our players as they leave the stadium after a match, particularly players who have gave a lot for this club in terms of effort over the last couple of seasons. Questionable ability yes, but not in terms of effort usually.

It's actually the Armani suits and sweater gang who pay his wages, and they'll more than likely let him know what they think at the end of season sponsors dinner.

If someone is shouting abuse at you as you get into a car, why on earth would anyone take offense at Charlie referring to him as a "wee ned"?

I wear joggies and and trainers on a regular basis. i also tend to enjoy a swig of tonic wine, but im also a uni graduate. Does this make me a ned charlie?.. Pity mulgrew forgot that the wee "ned" had every right to voice his concern as does every other supporter.. This wee ned paid good money to watch a sub standard product and like it or not chico he pays your wages... So shut up stop being judgemental to the people paying your wages.. Were not all blessed in earning 15,000 a week to buy prada, gucci or nice shiney new cars.. If anything the only judgment in this case should be aimed at mulgrew..If this chap is a "wee ned" for voicing his oppinion then by your own logic you must be a terrible father by leaving your child unsupervised.. :icon_mrgreen:
