He shouldn't have trusted Levy. Him and his agent should have known better, and any contract should have had a reasonable buy out. Now City have Haaland for £51m

Disasterclass from Alexander-Arnold tonight as well. Shocker of a performance.

Carvajal showed him how to play right back.

Owen trying to claim it’d have been the greatest season in the history of football.

Almost like the Lisbon Lions don’t count down there cos they aren’t English…

Genuinely thought Madrid were awful tonight, Courtois aside. But you won’t see a side win the tournament with as tough a draw as that ever again I don’t think.

Thought they were fairly poor for much of the first half, but excellent in the second half. Aye Courtois had to make a couple of fantastic saves, but they controlled Liverpool in the second half, on and off the ball.

Courtois, Carvajal, Casemiro and Modric were all phenomenal.

Modric was ok. Rest I’d say fair enough. Courtois was the main difference, if it wasn’t for him it would have been a walk in the park for Liverpool.

Michael Owen just said ‘Sandy Mayonnaise’. He was trying to say Sadio Mane.

    Incredible.
