My mate messaged me exactly ma thoughts - The most expensively-assembled squad in the history of association football wins the Champions League. If that can't warm your heart, then nothing will.

Would rather Real won it every year than the likes of a City, PSG or Chelsea winning in all honesty.

Surprised Rodri didn't complain about Inters style of play

Never really understood why English pundits * themselves silly over English teams in the champions league final.

Even Man Utd ex legends cheering on City and stuff like that, there is an English team in the champions league final every other year.

I'd understand if English teams got nowhere near it and it was a once in 20 years occurrence.

Would get it if our pundits in Scotland were to * over somebody like Queens Park getting to a European final, but ffs.

Plus Man City are *. Have practically bought the trophy. They'll just clear up for the next couple of years.

The only time I heard the city fans was when they scored. It was only the Inter fans that made the atmosphere

City's boring as * to watch. Possibly because they are that far ahead of everyone it makes the games boring as every team just sits in or gets humiliated. Much prefer full gigan press kloppball over it any day though.

After spending the gross domestic product of a developing economy for about a decade, they have finally done it. What a story.

My policy is anyone but the huns or English sides ever winning anything and I'll be good..

How happy must their fans be? Lots of them have been waiting months for this...

Never want an English team to win any of them but this isn’t even about that.

100 odd charges of cheating a few months ago but apparently it’s somehow some sort of fairytale…

This is a fairytale indeed, cash strapped underdogs triumph in CL final.

City have fantastic players and a great manager. They play great football. I admire it, even reluctantly enjoy watching it sometimes.

But none of that matters when you essentially commit fraud to accomplish that, spending 1.5 billion on the way.
