    hope hes not a hinkel replacement, he was one of our best players last season, i say just shove him at left back instead, he is versatile because he used to play up front, now in defence so its worth a go :icon_mrgreen:

    hope its not the end for hinkel. i think this cha guy is more defensive minded, more solid compared to hinkels attacking game.

    this is just a thought, but it could be lennon is aiming for a 3-5-2 with hinkel and mulgrew as wingbacks and maybe this guy to play in the right sided CB position? again, this is just me having a thought.

    3-5-2 is a bit of a dead formation.

    For years and years top teams have all gone back to the 4 at the back.

    Maybe with Mcgeady Going Cha Du Ri could be a replacement, Hes meant to have a good shot so with mulgrew down the line and Cha cutting in could be good or could play him at right back and push Hinkel Right Wing

    cha du ri used to be a striker for goodness sake, i watched all the south korea games at the world cup and it was clear to see he isn't shy about bombing forward.

    not sure where people are getting this idea that he is more defensive than hinkel, i really don't. anyone like to come forward with where they heard this?

    he is supposed to be around 6 foot, he looks solid I don't think he will take any time to settle either. Can't be much worse than hinkel in the air.

    im with you he is hopless, for ages people where wanting caddis to get his chance and when hinkel got injured he got his opportunity and was dreadful .

    I Like hinkel but rather we sold him for money this window than lose him for free next summer.
