Rodgers has already said mate in terms of front players there is nothing in the pipeline immediately happening. Squad will need to do him for the playoff as is in terms of players.

Its the board mate they infuriate me, I literally hate the * and those * take the enjoyment for me out of celtic. Yet we have fans who are willing to accept mediocrity like idah, Scales, Yang its abysmal

I do understand the frustration, most of us share it..

But, we're already ahead in the league and will strengthen.

Seeded in the CL draw, we should have enough for that too.. but we are needlessly gambling.

Wknd results i think lifted the mood for now. Was surprised how quiet the crowd was towards the board but I guess these things can wait until closer the deadline.

Would have been disrespectful to Paul McStay or during today in general

Leave it for the next game

Our transfer windows are almost entirely miserable.

I agree with all of that and I think the number of fans happy with our spending and ambition is getting smaller all the time. It also makes it hard to get excited about following a team that only seems to exist to make money while not improving.

But you have to seperate all that from the fact that we are still absolutely dominant in Scotland, we spend more than anyone else, and there was nothing evident in that Rangers game against Motherwell to suggest they are better than Celtic. We are still massive odds on favourites to win the league because we are still the best team.

Got to be almost a record for fewest proper links by this time in the window? I know we've signed players but I'm talking proper first-team signings. Even windows where we've not signed loads, there have been a number of decent links. Just boring as *.

Genuinely fear for this CL qualifier. Praying Yamada gets minutes and is class, and 34 yo Forrest stays fit is utterly shocking. In most other industries someone would be sacked for this.

    We signed anyone yet???

Basically yesterday's squad is the squad that we need to qualify with.

1 winger whos our best CF, our CF whos not good enough, another winger who cant play a full 90min and the other winger shows up once every 6 games or so.

    Would could possibly go wrong?

Part of me wants to see us in the Europa League just as a fck you to the board for gambling like this.

Would we though? Im assuming as we are waiting to see where we end up the kitty would be lowered.

As it stands we a miles off it attacking wise.

I find it very hard to get excited about it to be honest. We will either scrape through and get battered in the groups, making lots of money we dont spend anyway. Or we lose, drop into a group we have more chance of competing in, make less money and not spend it anyway.

At least in Scotland we usually win as we coast. In Europe we will be shown up. Not much to get excited about.

We are weaker than last season, the budget would be lowered even more and all we would end up with is loans.

They used to think that when they won 9 in a row in the 90’s and we came back.

We should never, ever forget that, and the last Lennon season should always be a reminder of that too.

They have new investment and business model in place, a bunch of new players who will settle.

They all laughed when Ange got off to a slow start too.

We are weaker than last season, still lacking real quality and there is only so long we can ride our luck.

Now till the end of the window is crucial to get the quality we need to go in and dominate.

We must now invest with that draw - we have been handed an incredible opportunity and we must seize it - two wingers and a striker of good quality and there’s no reason we can’t make the group stage.
