Agree Forrest played really well, needs to have a go at goal more though. His run into the box was brilliant.

Game served its purpose, decent work out for fringe and trialists against a full strength wolves...Pluses were Forrest,Matthews and Mulgrew and Wanyama played ok after a poor start...

    Maybe he was unfit...:56:

I'd love us to have another defender, but we'll make do.

One own goal and one fk, its no big deal. It was a good run out for the fringe players and some of them did there chances no harm, Mathews and Forrest in particular.

I'd say Mphela played & looked better than the Slovak, although it was a real test for both of them to play beside Murphy - quite genius by Lenny.

Pletikosa looked suspect again, with little to do.

Madge was in & out of it - seemed to get bollocked by Charlie for the 2nd goal.

    Mathews looked great, can't believe he's 19.

Wanyama got to grips with it eventually.

    Positives-

Forrest was electric, very excited about James hope he can continue his form throughout the season.

Wanyama looks to have the potential to be very good.

Mathews pace will kill SPL defenders.

Too early in season to be taking about negatives!!!:shamrock:

Good positives,Matthews looked great and that was at LB,Forrest getting better every game,Mulgrew was on his game tonight. The 2 trialist strikers didn't get much of a chance to impress,45 min each.

Forrest was immense. Matthews as well. Wanyama came onto a very good game.

A little bit * as we will get the £your not premiership standard if you lose 2-0 to Wolves" * now.
But it was a 2/3rd string team. Only Brown and Mulgrew would be in my first 11.
Stipe - im not sure, if he is looking anything 15k + id say no. Not much of an improvment by the looks of things. Poor distribution as well.
Mphela - looked average. anything over 1mil then its a no.
Lazney(sp) - better than Mphela but still would only be a squad player so i would pass.

Matthews, Forest, Wanamay and Mulgrew where great.
    Maj was terrible.

Forrest, Mulgrew and Matthews were brilliant. Wanyama did well when he settled into the game.

That's about it really, Majstorovic was shocking 2nd half, he did well 1st half.

The goals could easily have been prevented, Pletikosa poor positioning and Twardzik with a poor touch but I thought Twardzik did well for the most part when he came on.

Mphela and Lacny didn't look anything special.

Cant say I was too disappointed at losing as this was an almost new team with several trialists and thought we played some nice attacking and flowing football. This plus the fact defence ( in general ! ) seems to have lost the last couple of seasons `bombscare ` moments and seems much more settled.
Anyway after watching `the champions` last night I thought our 2nd lot plus trialists would have beaten them. Things are looking so much more positive for us !

ffs cant believe folk getting annoyed over a * friendly :56:

pletikosa looked bad for the free kick could he have lost his chance?

the mphela guy looked okay, certainly did more in 45 minutes than murphy (get him punted please lenny) did in 70-80; the lacny guy was awful we wont be seeing him again!

the positives were the boy matthews, looks a real find, mulgrew was pretty good and forrest looks in the mood he was skinning his full back time and again :50:

so all in all not an entirely useless exercise

still expect CELTIC IN CRISIS headlines in the rags tomorrow :56:

Ha he probably played both with Murphy on purpose to see how they would react playing along side him lol.
