But, is that pretty much all there is to the Asian lines ? I always wondered.

 

It is mate.

They are basically handicap bets but with only 2 outcomes. A bit more like the lines on US sports.

-0.5 basically means betting on a team to win
or +0.5 means betting a team won't get beat.

It gets a little bit more complicated with the quarter balls.

ie Celtic -0.25 would mean you have half your stake at 0 and half at -0.5

So at 0 you would get half your money back if Celtic draw
but you would lose the half you had on Celtic -0.5 ( Celtic to win)

Genuinely can't see us win this game.. The filth have a passion and determination to win while we are scraping by Partick Thistle. If it wasn't for Leigh Griffths this season we wouldn't even be in a shout if a league title never mind the cups. Also the defence is so lacklustre it's been since the Malmo game we are still constantly conceding set peices and penalties. Sorry Bhoys & ghirls but I think we're going to get beat in this game. Hope I'm wrong but I think I'm going to call this one a filth victory. We're soo poor I really can't see us doing anything.
