Celtic vs St.Mirren CIS Cup

If Balde plays and plays a blinder, LoL, well a no bad game, I will acknowledge it, however if he plays like he normally does, dont come back on here and say, well hes no played for awhile?

 

Oh man, please no more of that, that borders on worse than unnacceptable.
Then again somebody that calls himself Swooping Vulture and has a Bald Eagle for their avatar, what would I expect?

 

Im just saying if it meant that we had a better chance of winning the league and qualifying for the CL i'd quite happily get knocked out of the CIS cup!

Win every game I say.
When I was playing in Toronto, I played with a team that rarely lost, anyhoo we would on occasion have games that the score would be 5-3, or 4-3, etc not close fitba wise but close in scoring although we still won, well some of the guys that would watch our games would often say we should lose some games, bevcause we are letting too many in against us, or that game was closer than it should have been.
Well to me it doesnt matter what the * score is if your winning.
If every game was 1-0 in our favour so be it.
You see my point is you are being negative, never is that good at anytime.

Not negative, just prioritising!
The league and the CL are by far the most important things (in my opinion) that Celtic are involved in. Therefore i believe that we should give ourselves every opportunity to do well in them. Our defence at the weekend were all carrying injuries (except Paul Telfer which is worse than an injury!), and any of them are risked tonight for a diddy cup when have OF and CL games in the next week then i think it's stupid. Ferguson and Wenger are not seen as being negative because they put out youth teams in the cups in england, i think we should do the same. If we win, good experiene for them, well done etc. If they lose then at least all our 1st team is fit for the real games coming up. Also, theres a difference between playing lower level football and playing in the CL where all the pros are pretty much equally skilled and not having played a midweek fixture the week before may give your players the 1% extra that will make someone chase down a goalkick or whatever that leads to us winning the match. In the CL we need all the advatges we can get and not having had to have played a game in the pishing rain the Tuesday night before hand may well be one of them.

I'm going to the game tonight and I'm really looking forward to it for some reason. I think the prospect of seeing all the new faces get a chance is why. My prediction would be 2-0 to the tic.
