Bitton is quite the opposite of someone who flies into tackles. A bit of a shitebag tbh. I may be tempted to play Chick if I were Ronny and Colly, as his experience in these matches could be vital and he's tougher than Bitton. We know the muck will be studs up next week. But Bitton has been good and there's only one way to gain experience.

Pretty much where I was at, I was giving him stick for a host of well below standard performances and the back to goal square pass was giving me near heart attacks..

I'm not glad he got injured but it has worked out quite well in the sense that Bitton has come in and done quite well (not perfect but better than chico)..
Hopefully this is the kick up he needs to fight for his place, as he was a ronny first teamer no doubt..

Don't want Mulgrew anywhere near the midfield against the huns

And although Bitton can be a bit of a big *, mulgrew is no hard hitter, many a time I've seen him * out of tackles and stand admiring when he should be putting the foot in..

Mulgrew for me but he's a centre half so we need another option there.

Elbows and Black will run over Bitton - far too lightweight. Mulgrew is a much better option.

Do yous really think Bitton can't handle Hutton and Law?:56: away to * he'll walk past them and rip them apart all game, Charlie certainly isn't the answer and there isn't a problem, hope he snaps Law in 2 to prove yous wrong.

Have you not been watching Celtic these past few years i take it ? Charlie Mulgrew has played excellently for celtic in the middle on plenty of occassions as he has done for scotland , also while partnering Scott Brown . He is just as good as Biton on the ball but has the advantage of being able to play a killer pass . Plus he adds more with his set peices and experience . Mulgrew the right choice for me .

Needs to play for the 1st team before the huns and play well to get in my team.

Experience can count in these games important to play some players who have experienced the game before.

    Mulgrew a must for me..

For this one I would play Mulgrew alongside Brown from the start. Experience does count for a lot in this one. Hopefully Mulgrew gets some game time at least off the bench this weekend against Ross Country ahead of next week.

Briefly skimmed this threads last few pages, can't believe some people are suggesting Mulgrew makes a return.

This hun mob are going to play like Motherwell did the other night - everyone behind the ball, then kick us when they can.
We have no fear of getting beat by this lot, so long as the defence stays organised - which it is looking a lot more these days.
A matter of time before we start scoring against these fannies. Stokes, Griffiths, Commons, Johansen, Van Dijk and Guidetti can all hit a sweet freekick. No need for Mulgrew in this team.

Brown with either Biton of Henderson next to him - Biton most likely.
With Johansen in front of them, Stokes out left, Commons out right and Griffiths up top.

    Totally agree.

Mulgrew offers more of a goal threat too. Bring Bitton on when we have conrol of the game.

I'd rest Izzy tom to give Charlie some game time as well as izzy getting a well deserved rest.

This is the last game we'd rest him in. When did Mulgrew last play left back? Mental idea
