Just seen the highlights... couple of cracking goals. :celt_2:

Gutted that Matthews has taken a sore one, but it's not a pen for me.

I'm kind of split on this one. Sure, he is a dirty player - but he did actually win the ball.
Matthews was unlucky, the first player gave him a wee shoulder nudge and that knocked him a wee bit off balance and kind of pushed him towards the tackle. The tackle came in and it was timed quite well to win the ball and take out the player.

So it was a dangerous challenge. Far more dangerous than Brown's against Neymar, one's a red and one's "play on". One the guy doesnae get injured, the other, he's out for a third of the season. Doesn't make any sense really, but i can understand the ref thinking he played the ball, but then again i thought they had outlawed taking the ball and the player.

It's a shame, we really need him for the CL.

He has to go through Matthews to win the ball, so for me, it's a penalty all day long. Lasley is one player, that is right up there with the scumbags of football in my opinion. Can't stand the horrible wee reptile that he is.

It was the main reason of my trip. I also wanted to explore Glasgow and Edinburgh because I had never gone to Scotland before. I hope to repeat soon... maybe in a match against Betis in European competitions. :50:

Your Betis lads certainly are playing well so far this season. Good chance they could qualify for Europe next season if they can keep it up.

It could happen this year if we drop into Europa and Betis go through from their Group. You never know.
