Benyu looked top drawer, Ntcham was promising and Eboue looked more comfortable on the ball now and played well.

 

Aye.

They had full strength team available. Think Rafael was only notable player missing.

They mixed the team up a bit in 2nd half and looked very good.

 

I maybe wrong but did De Vries not go off at HT

 

He didn't even concede one today hahahaha muppet

 

I thought we played well first half and were the better of the two teams. Benyu and Nitcham were excellent. I thought Ajer looked very comfortable too.

Second half was a completely different story. We looked tired and lacking of ideas. Their second goal was a * belter tbf.

 

Ntcham looked good as did Benyu. Dembele played well 1st half but got no service in 2nd. Ajer did ok, seemed comfortable bringing the ball out from the back. Izzy was poor, Hayes struggled to do anything. We did well 1st half, 2nd was poor. I know the 2nd was basically a colts team but it's depressing to see the difference in quality, not to the Lyon 1st-teamers as that's an unfair comparison, but to the Lyon youngsters. They were so much more composed and technically sound under pressure than our lads.

 

How was the match ?

 

so benyu, kouassi, ajer looked the part. Too early to call Ntcham??

It sounds so cliched but the result doesn't really matter against this level of opposition with first team out yesterday....will learn a lot more from this than Shamrock reserves as was said above!!

Not surprisingly : Lyon is one of the best academies in the world.

 

Imagine if McGregors goal would have stood and he would have scored the rebound could been different game. First half was promising, second half not so much new guys all looked good.

Only seen the first half (thank *) where we should have been a couple of goals up including the offside goal that was actually onside.

With Koussi and Ntcham all of a sudden our midfield is looking really strong. The competition in those positions right now will only make them better.

I thought Ajer was good too. He had a better performance than Svia did yesterday and that was against better players

Benyu surprised me he looks skillful. Looking forward to seeing more of him.

The good thing is they are all still really young and will only get better.
