Was at the game, couldn't believe it, what a * game Went up to the Hearts fans after the game and gae them abuse :icon_mrgreen:

 

Just back myself. Defense were worrying today at times but apart from that it was a decent performance

I must just be easily pleased.

3 points. A number of chances. A coulple of really good performances (McGeady,Fox). Hit the woodwork a number of times.Some good attacking football. A last minute goal.

By the way midweek was pish this was nowhere near the same. Lots of effort by the players today right up to the final whistle.

Give the team a break. There will be plenty other days that you will be able to vent your frustrations. Top of the league !! Remember !!

Just back from the game, first half I thought we were once again extremely poor, second half was so much better but there is still a lot of room for improvement. I really think we are missing Fortuné for the space he seems able to create for others.

At least we created quite a few chances but our finishing was once again suspect to say the least, although the woodwork did come to hearts rescue a few times and on a luckier day at least one of those would have went in.

Yet again I wasn't impressed with Brown or Maloney.

I think N'Guemo plays better when Brown isn't in the team and I can only hope that Robson will replace Brown in the next game.

Now to Caldwell, after he let the ball bounce and the hearts guy was one on one and he had to scamper back to clear of the line, the abuse that was dished out to him was the worst I had ever witnessed Celtic fans giving to one of our own players.

I understand the frustrations caused by his wage demands and the amount of mistakes he's made this season, however, I doubt he deliberately sets out to make mistakes and having a few thousand of your own fans boo and call you every f'n name under the sun can not be good for his confidence.

While he is on that pitch wearing the hoops he will continue to get my support - I don't think he should be after that display again, but while he is picked I'll support him.

3 points are 3 points no matter how they come about, I enjoyed the game today and from the despair of thinking we had dropped more points at home to the euphoria of a late winner was great.

I saw positives and areas that need improved throughout the game today but as this is a work in progress, time is what's required just now and as long as we keep getting the 3 points while TM is building the team the way he wants it then I'm happy.

Now that we're top, we just have to work at staying there for the rest of the season :icon_mrgreen:

Wee Maloney played brilliant though the wee man still gets stick from a large amount of celtic suporters who question his every move claiming he does nothing.
Shaun, Aiden & Boruc all played brilliant today. If Aiden could shoot a bit better he'd be at Man utd and if Boruc never had a shocking season last season he'd be looking follow Aiden to man utd at the end of this season.
Aidens got the speed the skill and the ability to play for man utd, just not good enough at shooting.
Which i supose, we as celtic fans should be happy of , in a strange way.
Same as with naka.. if he had pace, we'd never have had him

100% agreed! Maloney was involved in alot 2day! Hit the bar with a free kick, hit the post with a shot, had a shot cleared off the line and set Killen up with a brilliant cross! Don't honestly know wot he has to do to for these fans who think he does nothing in games!

 

On another day itwas 4-1, hit bar how many times ffs!
