Would agree about Miller, he's reminding me of Paueletta of Portugal, runs about like a headless chicken and is lost when the ball comes near him.

I am of the opinion that if you are getting beat by 4 goals the primary source of the problem is midfield, obviously you are being dominated in that area for this to happen in the vast majority of cases. Not to say there are not other weaknesses of course

DC Untied are a good outfit be we are Glasgow Celtic. We will be playing in the world's best competion, and that was our best team who played the first half.

United also made numberous subs and still made as look like fools.

chaz is right look at the highlights the midfield does nothing to slow them down expecally lennon none of them challenge them we need a good big challenging defense midfielder to replace lennon who wants to attack but does'nt keane retireing was a bigger blow than I ever thought

A attacking midfielders job is to practically spit the defence thats where playing through the hole comes from this is what ronaldinho,pele,maradona,scoles,zidane,figo but we can't afford them I have not seen jarsoki play much but I hope he is able to do the job

So the question do we need a defense midfielder or a midfielder

I think we need a defensife midfielder to allow the rest of the team to play more aggresife game.

So a person who sits back and breaks up any oncoming attacks so the defence can handle it.


Strachan is right we don't need to invest in defence its midfield and a experienced striker would do us good

As for Chivas, they are a good side. They just sold their best player, Carlos Salcido, to PSV. The players to watch out for are #9 Omar Bravo, #100 (yes 100) Adolfo Bautista, #7 Gonzalo Pineda, and #11 Ramon Morales. All but Bautista were on their World Cup squad and played big roles for them. Their goalkeeper Oswaldo Sanchez is being held out due to injury.

Interesting fact about Chivas is that they employ only Mexican born players. They have a large fanbase in the New York area so there should be a large crowd of Mexicans there.

 

its strange how there are two chivas a mexican one and a american one the american one has players from the mexican one and the american one plays during the summer and the mexican one plays at the sam time as the epl spl confusing

Why doesn't GS use Michael McGovern in goal instead of DM for this match even if its only the 1st half he might play great or he might be crap only but time will tell,Strachan has tried lots of different things why not change the goalie as we can't get Boruc untill we get back to CP.
