Anyone still get this? I'm starting to get it again with the next issue. I remember I stopped collecting it because it was getting kind of crap, still crap?

I think I'm going to start getting it again once the new season starts. I used to only get it all the time for the posters in the middle, but I just stopped doing it one day and haven't really thought about buying it since.

Saw on the club website that they are giving Lenny shirts to season subscribers, though it doesn't show the design. As for the View itself, I used to gt it quite alot, but as my eyes have deteriorated, it has become increasingly difficult for me to read the print, so haven't bothered with it for a good couple seasons now.

I actually haven't bought the Celtic View for a few seasons now. I found it a bit too much like reading propaganda tbh. I know it's the club magazine, and you're not going to get articles openly criticising the club in the club magazine, but I just found some of the stuff I read in the Celtic View to not be a real representation of what was going on.

I got bored of it as well. Just ended up buying fanzines instead.

It's a bit boring tbh, i still buy it though when it comes out just for something to read in work other than the paper...and to wind up the huns :50:

anyone remember years ago .. i'm talking like 12 or so years ago , when the celtic view was like a normal newspaper . So much better then imo .
I still buy the latest ones on the odd occasion though . -
I used to enjoy buying it when they had a Celtic crossword in it every week. When they stopped doing the crossword I lost interest a bit.

I still buy it :50:

Used to have a subscription but buy less than 10 per season these days.
It needs to be more objective to gain more popularity in my opinion. -
They should have a letters page where they don't just hand pick letters that paint the club in a good light. They should pick one or two letters that are critical of the club if it is deserved. They should also have a column each week done by a guest writer from one of the fanzines and the writer should have the freedom to write what they want. I'd like to read articles by people like Matt McGlone as they give you a different perspective on what's going on at Celtic. -
stopped buying it about a year ago now! dont really need it as i have the internet for all info
-
Haven't bought a copy in many a year. Don't really see the point.

I started getting it through my local agents about 3 months ago but i thought it was a bit boring, every week was too much as there wasn't enough to talk about it. Some of the features were good though, i enjoyed the retrospective feature on past players and the feature on the new 3rd strip persuaded me to buy it. Will probably get it agin this season just in case there is something good that i might miss!

I like it. It has good player interviews and some exclusive content you can't find on the internet. Having said that I get why many people find it a little dull.

Load of * really I did buy the Jinky and Tommy Burns tributes but apart from that none obviously the internet has a big part to play and the fanzines are much better alternative view etc. CV is just a * comic.

The Alternative View is a much better read imo
