Went quiet a couple times but every time we were on the attack * were going mental. Could feel the optimism as we just looked like scoring nearly every time.

Excellent tonight, only downside is it was only 1-0. They won't play as badly next week, just hope we play as well as we did tonight.

    Same team for me

Not trying to get too sentimental but it's moments like that why I wanted so much Ronnie to do well. Wrong time and too big a job but he knows a player.
This was all about the master Brendan though, the alchemist.

Difference is Brendan has the pull and the ability to combine our Scottish players with new signings correctly. Deila knew we had good players but couldn't build around them.

He did get us to produce some magic though when we clicked. I like how he brought McGregor back from the cold, introduced KT and secured Ajer who looks like he could be world class.
Brendan is a different league of course.
Did love Ronnie's goodbye game introducing Celtic's youngest ever scorer.

Just back home now, what a * performance that was. Best I've seen in a long time over 90 mins, we dominated them and could of been out of sight if we got a bit of luck.

Midfield was * immense, stand out being McGregor who just picked them apart and cause all sorts of problems. Eboue and Ntcham were fantastic, so energetic and picking up 2nd balls, creating and tracking back. Broony anchored the midfield perfectly and kept the tempo up which was great to see.

Finally Moussa decided to turn up tonight and * me he was good, never got his goal but his touch and creativity was class, bullied their defence.

Defence was solid, only 2 mishaps by Jozo but made up for it. Ajer was outstanding, so cool and composed and won everything up against their strikers, Tierney was ripping them apart whenever he went forward just looked tired at times.

Only bad point I'll make is Lustig, so many attacks broke down through him passing back or punting aimless cross field passes, he did make a couple of good ones early on but then was just a nightmare on the ball.

Touched on a good point Cookie. Second balls and loose ones were won by us the whole night. Haven’t seen us close down space and make it so tight in a fair while. We were defending from the front for the whole game. Harrying and snapping and getting on top of them. All while playing good football.
