Like everyone here obviously I so wanted us to win this one today and basically all but officially clinch it but a draw is ok for us. With the goal difference edge a win gets it done next weekend. So we are almost there. In fairness a draw was probably the fair result. We should have won it in the first half but didn't kill it off when we had the lead and were on top and they were better in the second half so a draw was fair on the day and big picture wise that leaves us with one hand on the title and hopefully we get the other hand on it next weekend now.

Just seen a replay of jota being brought down in the box by tavernier 1st half. Didn't think there was much in it at the game but looks a good shout when you see it again.

Well, they can have mine for free...

Today's performance puts the 3-0 match in glorious perspective. I like to think that's the true difference between the two sides, but no doubt it's closer than that.

    For now.

    Roll on Phase 2!!!

Bitton should 100% have started ahead of hatate. Id love to see how you can twist and disagree with this now

And make sure its drilled into them to take the percentage shot - low and hard ! Sick to death of shots askew with the goal at our mercy, when a simple side foot would do the job. We should have scored more on Sunday, yet again ! Ange must be furious but he does not really show it. I know I am !

We need to have a plan B system of playing as well. SPL coaches will have been studying Angeball all season and will set up to counter it next season. He will need to evolve as all good coaches do.

Players were still effected by the way they played us at Hampden. Did not go into the game like 11 lions, as you would expect at Celtic Park with a full stadium behind them.

Watching these two teams play reminds me of Cavaliers and Roundheads.

We are all dash, bravado, and intricate passing and we do not succeed as often as we should against them because we waste our chances to score. We do not have all players of equal ability in our squad.

Rangers are all about co-ordinated movement, not holding the ball for too long, knowing where their team mates are, playing a quick 1-2 passing game and supporting each other while taking up space. Saw this clearly in the second half of the Red Bull game. They will resort to the rough stuff if need be to break a team's momentum. Dare I say it, they pass accurately over distance and all seem to hit that ball with venom and low when they shoot. They are a regimented team and their squad ALL seem to have an equal standard of ability. Granted they have been playing together as players for a while and have an almost telepathic sense of knowing how to respond to each other on the pitch.

I do not like them for what they represent as a club but I respect them as a football team. You are guaranteed a close competitive match each time you play them and they are not scared to come at you when they choose.

I reckon they will beat the Germans at home because they have their tails up at present.

We need to realise that they will continue to be a threat to our title ambitions next season. We are a good side but from what I have seen of our play this year, especially in the last third, we are far from clinical. Everyone in that team needs to get back to basics in terms of shooting and timing and hitting that ball correctly. I am not talking about ball control, I mean having the confidence to know that when they shoot or head that ball towards goal, that it goes accurately where they aim it to go. Having that confidence in these skills will make scoring as normal as passing the ball.

Hopefully pre-season training will concentrate on these skills as well so we do not have a repeat of the amount of goals missed due to lack of composure and scoring confidence.

Not patter. Just making you aware that when you come across someone that has an opposite opinion to you, there may be no agenda.

My opinion hasn't changed. Bitton shouldn't have started that match. He did well when he came on but we played our best midfield available. I don't think Bitton would've changed the result. Starting a game and coming off the bench are two different things. Bitton hadn't played in over a month.

We also need some new additions to the team - like a couple of big tall athletic Wanyama type players who can out muscle the opposition here and in Europe
