Former Rangers season ticket holder Bobby Madden has been appointed the ref for this game.

You might remember he was in charge during Sevco's 1-1 victory at Parkhead last season.

He turned down a blatant stonewall penalty on Thumb.

Expect lots of "honest mistakes" tomorrow.

Comrade, he had an influence last season though when he turned down a stonewall penalty.

I can't remember who was the ref in the New Year Ibrox game last season but he too went out of his way to disrupt all of our attacks by flagging our players offside when they blatantly were not. Must have destroyed about five or six promising attacks.

Even in our periods of dominance, whether it was under Jock Stein, MON or now, although we've been better than whatever manifestation of Rangers* we've played, there have still been game-changing decisions that have gone against us on a frighteningly regular basis.

They may not be able to win the league for Sevco, but they'll want to do as much as they can to "get one over the kafflicks"

Or when they failed to inform the police about one of their scouts who subsequently went on to abuse other children.

Don't forget about the memorable tackle on Miller, who is due to land sometime when rossiter becomes fit.

Broony loves these fixtures, it's a shoe in that he will thrive in this game.

    Why though?

Do you not think it's fairly reasonable to question the integrity of appointing a referee who (up until very recently) was an ACTIVE season ticket holder over at Ibrox, (I'm sure he's still) an active member of the Orange Order, and who's local is a hun-infested hun hole up in East Kilbride?

    Impartial my *!

To be fair we were terrible that day but they still should've had a couple of reds. Miller lunge early on Armstrong and Holt on Paddy. Even the free kick they got for the goal was * all if I remember right before the penalty which what can you say......

MP Douglas Ross. Did the Dundee game. Wouldn't surprise me if he's back in..

We've picked up momentum. They are woefully bad. They'll get decisions which leave the head scratching but this time we'll damage them too much for slap heed to have an impact..

We were pish that day, I don't disagree.

But you've just reminded me of how awful the officiating was that day. I had forgotten about the two red cards. In fact that's the point. The decisions that go against us in these type of games (and I'm talking blatant decisions, not the 'seen them given' variety) are so plentiful that it's difficult to keep track.

Just remember, if they get a red card on Sat, they'll still only be down to 11 men.

100% with the offsides at Ibrox. Wasn't it Griff that was playing on the last defenders shoulder. Got given off 3/4 times when he broke away. A players whole game plan up in the air because of the ineptitude or bias of a referee. Griff paid the price for being much too clever. I was ripping it that day.

Pish but still done enough to win..

There was probably other contentious decisions but like you say, it's that frequent by the game against them that it's hard to remember all..

Funnily enough. You could count on 2 fingers what they get against us. Advantage with Griff through on goal. Throw in that led to their goal. Sviatchenko goal ruled out. That's just the early cup game's against them..

The decisions since they've been up is hilarious. Stonewall penalties. You could count about 20 wrong offsides in that time :56:
They've had 1 red and that was the most blatant handball..

Madden will let them kick us off the park. Take quick free kicks at will when we're out of position. There'll be no red cards for them or penalties for us, however stonewall..

It'll have to be used cutting them to ribbons. No danger..
