I think they must be hurting after this one. I got the feeling that they really felt like they had us this time. We were in terrible form and they were in the best form they have been in for years. In my opinion that was our weakest match day squad going into a Glasgow derby for years. CCV out and then Stephen Welsh went off injured, should have been a big chance for them. However, yet again The Rangers can't handle the pressure when it matters.

Yep,Clement showed his true colours yesterday with that.

Getting the yellow card as well and also his near breakdowns when playing Hearts and St Mirren on the touch line when it wasnt going his way at the time.

The penalties given have got him this far with that record....But he finally ran into a brick wall yesterday and then threw the dummy out the pram.

Hes a * rocket just like the rest of them...Outside GVB, he was the only decent one of the lot.

The crazy thing about all this yesterday is actually a majority of yellow cards that we got that the huns didnt and should have...we have the right to shout about injustice not them.

Im hoping that the Media see that rat yesterday acting like that and now also see whats hes like...ANd im also hoping the way the Huns are acting since yesterday, demanding VAR audio/Wanting Refs Sacked, bringing in foreign refs etc etc....Now back fires on them with the refs here and the decisions they have been getting.

Imagine wanting refs like Beaton/Walsh/Dallas/Dickinson removed from the SPFL.....when its those guys that have basically gifted them the decisions of Penalties/Free Kicks etc....when they never were.....Unreal.

Aye, it should be us that's bemoaning the officiating..

Walsh and the North stand linesman were clearly at it..

Thought Sterling on O'Riley was deliberate.
Turnbull was a pen as he wasn't offside.
Godson feigned injury as he went in on Bernardo.
Injury time went from 8mins to nearly 11..

    But, ah well..

Happy New Year and keep the good times rolling.. :shamrock:

I was shouting that The Rangers player kicked Bernardo on the follow through as the time and I couldn't see how the commentary team couldn't see this.

Why is Mark Wilson going on about a penalty that never was and not saying anything about Turnbulls penalty that's just been completely ignored. Keevins constantly making out every game we got is a tough one but the Zombies seem to have every game in the bag. Soup taking * get it right up you.

You could tell he was choking to get it up us as well if they won.

I remember seing a bit on the new a couple of days ago where he said "i've heard it's supposed to be a good atmosphere so we'll see" and then yesterday on the way to the game he said something like "at least the fans won't be on the pitch" when the guy said to him about the atmosphere and if his team were prepared etc

Would have definitely had digs at us about the atmosphere etc if they'd won as you could see how snide he was being asked about it.

Seems a lot like Beale actually his comments, "both teams tried to play football" all they did was punt long balls, "we had more shots", questioning irrelevant decisions that were offside anyway.

I love how the narrative has been shifted to:
    1. how unlucky they were.
    2. A penalty from a scenario that was offside should have been a penalty regardless. A very bizarre take especially when they will say Turnbull one is not because he was offside which was debatable.
    3. They had more shots despite them being from distance and tight angles they somehow deserve to win.
    4. Bernardo should have been sent off for Connor Goldson following through on him, when he was booked for nothing after his goal. Grant called that one right on Sportscene.
    5. And this is the one I really struggle with they played well and will take encouragement?

In reality I thought we bossed the first half an hour should have been 2 up. They came in to the game from one of our slack passes and an injury that took us time to settle back down after. Bar Dessers failure to shoot which came from our poor pass they had a couple of efforts from wide right in our box.

Start of the second half we get the second and then cruise until about 85th minute when we take our forward line off, are wasteful with our final ball and should be 3 or 4 in front. Sterling should be sent off for raising his arm to O’Riley’s face intentionally.

The team switch off and we lose a goal to a freekick which really should be saved. It was a decent strike is not in the corner or that far from Hart, he gets a full hand to it and to me should push that over the bar. The fact his wrist buckles and it goes in is really poor. Although Hart made a good save from McCausland as his strike gets a deflection.

If we score a third and that freekick doesn’t go in it’s a different narrative to this game of how abject they were. They were competitive for about 15-20 minutes of the regulation 90 and with a desperate throwing the kitchen sink at it at the end which again should have resulted in us punishing them.

Although I am not surprised the narrative has been they were brilliant against Sparta Prague at home, where they got goals from two schoolboy level errors and held on for the last 30 minutes when Sparta brought on their main man.

Betis away was all about luck and incompetence from Betis both their keeper and the failure to finish simple chances not to mention the woodwork saving them twice.
