If we're (somehow) protecting a lead at halftime we'll probably see him earlier than usual.

I wish I hadn’t read the RM stats this morning it makes me more nervous than I was, I’m trying to fill my day with calls and meetings to stop me thinking about this game but all I want to do is fast forward to 7pm so I can get set up for this game. I really want us to pressure them for the whole 90 min, all over them like a cheap suit, I think Kyogo and Maeda will start for their closing down speed and movement off the ball.

 

Real Madrid in that league are every bit as much the same as us they will be looking at our stats and to play it down will say well they play in a poor league Now I’m not saying Spanish league is poor because it is not but those stats are expected because real are such a big fish in it

What i look forward to the most is the players (both teams) reaction when the CL anthem gets going and the fans drown it out. The players will be * blown away as they think that it wont get any better than when we play the huns. This noise is on a whole other level. I remember when Robben bursted out laughing in awe of the noise during the hymn.

And now, it will be another level on another level as we been away for so long. YAAAAAAS!

Looking for a ticket or 2 tonight! I’m thinking about heading to paradise after work to see if there’s anyone selling a ticket or 2. Is this something that happens on the day of a match? What’s the chances of me getting a ticket or 2 if I head to stadium today. Any advice on how to go about increasing my chances for a last minute ticket. Was in the queue on Friday morning and missed out.

Relatively calm about this one. Real are the biggest club in the world and reigning Champs league title holders - theres zero expectations on us from the outside.

That being said, i'm quietly confident that we're capable of getting something from this game as i don't believe Real are firing yet. To even consider that still blows my mind considering where we were this time last year. * it, 2-1 to glasgows green and white.

 

Zero expectations at all on this one.

I'm hopeful and confident that this won't be one of the soul destroying spanking like we got off PSG or Barca under Rodgers.

Almost expecting to be like the game against Bayern...we take the lead through McGregor...but lose 3-1.

But as the hours tick away, the blind faith and hope I have in this squad and Ange is sweeping over me and I'm getting more and more confident we will create history on the opening night and best the * 2-1.
