Not the best and not the worst..

Still two points ahead, now we just need to concentrate on winning our next few league fixtures

Never seen two bad Celtic-Rangers game back to back like these two in my life. Thought we were better in the 1st half, they had the better chances in the second but didn't think anyone really deserved to win.

Good to see Boruc back at his best, specially considering the crap they made up about him during the week. Anyway 2 points clear still, if we can finally get a run together we should be on our way to 4 in a row.

another poor performance but could have been worse if not for arthur too many average players in the team took till we brought crosas on for an intelligent pass from midfield to be made.
There is nuffin about our team right now that gives of a warnign to other teams no pace no muscle and no real flair.
Not even a cow of a striker who scores every week.

Better result for them than it is for us, so for that reason, I'm not happy with the outcome.

Another opportunity gone, just like previous opportunities this season. The only saving grace for me, is that we're playing * poor, but still top of the league.

Why do you say that? We're still top of the league, we're in pole position and i can't see them donkeys catching us, not playing like that anyway.

look they stifled us today with their neg attitude and anti football methods - its that simple - just like their uefa run - we got the quality of player to win the league - a draw is ok and big artur was great so i feel ok about the whole thing

We just cancel each other out and nothing happens. We may need to be brave in the future OF games.

I mean Crosas ahead of Hartley. Play with width and use McGeady and Maloney

Every team weve played lately, we have struggled to break down. Our standard of football is appauling. So slow in possesion hartley was a major culprit of this our full backs are so wasteful at distributing the ball hartley makes neil lennon look like a play maker with his short sideways needless passes that waste time. Also the strikers are a joke i cannot remeber us having such poor forward options inthe last decade +.
Alsdo why does no one ever shout from outside the box especially naka who has ability he had few chances today to get a shot off and took too long.
I think koki mizuno should be given a game in our next home game on one of the wings and hutchison given a chance upfront as all 3 other strikers have been poor as of late he may be no better but the rest have had a chance and are failing us so why should he not be given a go

Foley you are probably right mate.

We are too slow, we are too predictable. We have too few options, and the two players i thought can hurt Rangers were on the bench (Crosas and McGeady).

Also, the best full back at the club is not actually at the club - hes on loan at Dundee Utd.

Boruc - 8 Made 2 stops and the one from McManus was the best.

Hinkel - 6 Crossing was very poor and didn't get into good positions. Defended OK though.

Naylor - 7 Another good game from him today. Found a lot of good ball down the left and linked up with the midfield in the first half well.

McManus - 6 Defended well enough but his passing was poor.

Caldwell - 8 One of our best players today. Defended really well and found some good passes as well as looking very composed on the ball.

Hartley - 7 Pretty good performance and worked his socks off.

Brown - 6 Worked hard but his passing wasn't as tidy as it could have been. One good driving run in the 2nd half but we need more of this from him.

Flood - 6 Great cross for McDonald in the 1st half but looked a little nervous.

McDonald - 6 Worked really hard and won the odd freekick but was 2nd to the ball so many times. Should have taken his chance.

VoH - 3 Dreadful display. No threat at all and complained every time he was beaten by a player touching the age of 40! Just gave away foul after foul.

Nakamura - 7 Best player on the park in the 1st half by miles. Tired in the 2nd and should have been replaced. His set plays have also been better.

    subs

Samaras - 3 Did more than VoH in the half hour or so. Nothing special though
McGeady - 1 Only time on the ball - tackled by Mendes.
Crosas - 1 Made a couple of challenges but only got the last 10 mins or whatever.

:50: Also another positive is I really can't see us playing that badly again.

The thing is we have plenty of possession but we are greatly lacking in any type of creativity. Although our best performance (for the first half anyway) was away to Motherwell imo, so lets hope we can see a performance like that again. We need to get our act together and FAST !!!

In that game against Well we had control of the game, creativity and penetration in behind.

We never had any sort of creativity or penetration and thats what worries me

    Meh....

Three things added together made this one a * snooze fest. One, they lot played for the draw. Secondly we couldn't create a chance to save ourselves and thirdly the ref was absolutely *, for both teams at times.

Scottish football or the OF will get slated for such a poor game but the ref should take the blame, the game was never allowed to flow and his desicions were awful.

As for the game, 1st half ours. Second theirs.

Neither team looked sharp or had any urgency.

Hartley and Boruc the two positives for me in the team.
McManus, Jan, McGeady, Naka and Brown very poor. Needed them to step up to the plate.

Draw was a fair result and not the worst either. It won't decide the title and aslong as we up the pace for our next games we will be fine.

Oh, McGeady looks scared to ask for the ball in the OF's. I don't get it, usually he will drop back slightly to get the ball.
