Well we know Sinisalo will be goal giving Schmeichel a break. Probably see Ralston and Scales get starts at the back and Bernardo and McCowan in midfield. Up front Maeda stays in given he can't play next week against Munich. I think Jota needs the game time for his match sharpness so he probably starts and plays a half to an hour. Idah or not plenty of valid arguments for or against. Personally I would start him and hopefully keep his good form going.

Ideally get a few rested, then hopefully use all the subs to rest more, but need to take this seriously from the start.

In other news while an evening kick off is novel on a Saturday its a pain in the hole :thumbsdow

Grand old team to play for
I don't know why I read the Daily Record football pages, maybe I just feel the need to be annoyed at times.

What kind of clowns do they have working there? This is their suggested team for today. It's just embarrassing.

We've brought in Schlupp to cover at left back, but aye, we're gonna play him in midfield. Johnny Kenny is a striker so obviously we'll play him at right wing. And Nawrocki is so far out of the picture, he's standing in the * rain outside the gallery.

Think Maeda will start as he can’t play midweek anyway, and Jota still needs minutes so will also probably start. I’d be tempted to give Idah an hour then take him off, he is a player high on confidence and hopefully he can get on the scoresheet again. Fancy there to be changes in midfield with probably McCowan and Bernardo starting. I’d rest CCV as well. Fancy us to score plenty tonight.

More I think of I think starting idah is the way to go. Get him on get him scoring and get him off before the hour.. keep that confidence tipping over..

Yeah. Wouldn't chanfe too much from midweek.
Couple in midfield, maybe ralston and possibly scales in. Leave the front 3 and change that up second half depending how were getting on. Hopefully a couple up

I wouldn't play Idah at all

Far too risky and no decent backup if it goes wrong.

Maeda or Kenny through the middle.

Probably rest McGregor also....and CCV....and Schmeichel

Just rest as many as possible. I am paranoid of picking up injuries.

Arguments for both sides, but personally I'd say start Idah, give him 45-60 mins to keep him at peak sharpness and hopefully confidence if he scores, but get him off before any fatigue kicks in. Play Idah only midweek (obviously!) and then flip that for the next match... Seems like a good balance for them both and a way to show them both they are wanted/respected
