    I am sorry I read through the match threads during these pre season games. I understand it is not ideal to lose goals but in these games the old cliche to the fore. Gets the players energy levels up again and game time into their bodies after a break. I have seen the positive in this season’s friendlies but you would swear some would rather we * half our team with injuries for the sake of beating Blackburn or Legia. No thanks.

    Be good to see a wee clean sheet in the run up to the league, 7 goals shipped in the last 3 games is quite * regardless of it being friendlies. Some good stuff today, and some more slackness. Just hoping things are tightened up a bit.

    Good shout on Abada. Happy days with Ange having to make such difficult decisions.

    At present based on preseason games I'd say it's more than a coin toss between Ralston and JJ but guess Ange also sees them in training too.

    From the above I would ideally remove Julien, Ideguchi and Forrest from the second 11 once Starfelt is fit to move Jenz down unless he looks a player, a proper central defensive midfielder like Owusu or Bazoer and a winger capable of playing either wing.
