Its a must win game, That old chestnut springs to mind. Gotta keep the pressure on the orc's. Confident on this one, 2-1 to the hoops!:50:
-
Well its at home, and on paper it should be 3 points.
M'well will be looking at our home form and the silly goals we have conceded
early in matches, from the word go they will be push us and there points tally
is not that bad, so they will be up for it.
on the other hand after the huns defeat and disgraceful defending Tony will
want that put right, it will be tense untill our first goal
i dont see anything other than a celtic victory 3 1 hoops:50: -
Put it this way, if we dont beat motherwell at celtic park on saturday, i will walk up to the dug out and hand tony mowbray my season ticket.
Ok mayby i wont, but we cant even contenplate loosing to motherwell, it should really be "how many goals do u think we will beat them by" -
Ohhh i can't wait for this game!! Hate international weekends especially if scotland are playing a meaningless game lol
Could be a real test this one actually, given the guys over at well would have had more time to hone there tactics and overall fitness.
However i'm going 2-1 the bhoys.
Hail Hail. -
???.......Caldwell............Loovens........???

McGeady...............................Maloney.

...........Samaras........McDonald..............
That would be my first pick hopefully if Hinel/Fox are fit. Unfortunately the chances are Brown will start being seemingly undroppable.
I would like McCourt, Crosas and Robson all to feature at some stage. -

could be tricky, Motherwell have been decent so far and were a penalty away from defeating our beloved rivals and i wouldnt be suprised if that Forbes kid scores within 5 minutes as seems to be the custom these days; we really should win though i'd say 3-1 to the bhoys with maloney or mcgeady getting a goal or 2.
i'd like to see
...........................Boruc.................................
Hinkel (if fit)......Mick......Loovens.........Fox (if fit)
...................................................................
McGeady.........Zheng......N'Guemo..........Maloney
...................................................................

brown should be dropped as he's just had surgery no? contoversial maybe, i'd keep mick in the team, ok he booped against Vienna and the Huns but in truth i think he played ok against the Japanese in an admitedly third rate friendly but i would like to see Caldwell stew on the bench (or better yet the stand) for being such an *. okay, thats probably me making it personal lol but i stand by it! -
Robson should * start; sis record in the SPL is obscene.
I'm going to say this ever week before he starts and we win. -

McGeady Robson Maloney
Zhi
Fortune McDonald
I'll go for a 3-0 for the bhoys, cut out the sloppy defending and fortune x2 and McGeady pen -

if our full backs/Fortune are fit i would go with this..
Boruc
Hinkel Loovens McManus Fox
McGeady N'Guemo Zhi Maloney
Fortune McDonald
although if the players i said are not fit then Caddis, Naylor and Samaras would naturally come in.
Cant see any problems with this game tbh. i reckon 3 or 4-0 :shamrock:

Motherwell have looked good in a few games this season always give us a good game can see it being close but I think we will just edge it 2-0 Skippy and McGeady the scorers
-
Mon the Hoops! -
Boruc
Hinkel - Caldwell - Loovens - Fox
McGeady - N'Guemo - Zhi - Maloney
Samaras - McDonald
Impressed with Zheng Zhi so far, so I'd have him instead of Brown (to be honest, I'd have Zaluska instead of Brown at the moment). Samaras scored for Greece, great goal, I hope he can continue the same way for Hoops. I reckon Skippy will score for his ex team, at least he has most chance to do so. Most chances would come from the flanks, but now that we have Zheng Zhi, some creativity from midfield will be available by playing him there.
Defence is in * form, as we all know, but Motherwell's attack is weak, so I don't expect us to concede on Saturday. -
It's likely that Brown will start with Mowbray saying his trip to the specialist didn't uncover any serious issues and the rest would be fine for him.
I don't think Fortuné is fit yet although I think he's not that far away and is back in training.
Maloney was getting treatment for an Achillies injury so hopefully that's ok and hopeflly Fox and Hinkel will have recovered from their injuries.
Boruc
Hinkel
Caldwell
Loovens
Fox
McGeady
N'Gumeo
Zheng
Maloney
Samaras
McDonald
That would be my starting line up assuming all are fit but I think Brown will be in the team ahed of Zheng, possibly moving Zheng further up as support for Skippy with Samaras on the bench again.
Celtic to win 3-1 (I just can't see us keeping a clean sheet). -

if fotuneias fit i would go 4 the conventianl 4-4-2 with mcmanus and caldwell at the back and i would play zhi with n;gumeo, usual wingers.
but if fortune is not fit i would play robson in the middle with zhi playin off striker. -

I don't think Brown, Hinkle or Fox will make it - will probably be rested until fully fit, too much of a risk to put them in.
I think TM has learned his mistake from putting McGeady in against Falkirk in the cup & getting him injured.
Same with Fortune, theres no way we'll see him this month.
I'll go with a 3-2 win, as our defence is pish poor.
