Go as full strength as we can I say, maybe give one or two a rest. Most players need more playing time to get their match fitness up, and gel together more as a team. Can rest players at the weekend.
    I'd like to see:

    ----------Gordon
    ----Lustig Toure O'Connell
    Janko ---------------------- Izzy
    ---------Brown---Rogic (or maybe McGregor)
    Forrest--------------------Sinclair
    -------------Dembele

Effectively a 3-4-3 going forward and a 5-4-1 going back.

    Bench:
    Fasan
    Tierney
    McGregor (or Rogic)
    Armstrong
    Ciftci

Score: 2-0 Celtic (Dembele and Sinclair)

I like the look of that team if Griffiths is suspended.

Sub Rogic for Armstrong second half and maybe give Nesbitt 20 minutes for Forrest if we're winning comfortably.

Well, Ajer has played just as good as O'connell the few times he has played CB. He is a midfielder but has played good in defence. To me that says something about his talent. Of course, he needs some time to settle, but if he doesn't get a chance, how can he. The level in the top league in Norway where he came from is much better than U20 Celtic and he was captain of his team in the Norwegian top league (when he was 16) and usually the best player on his team every game. He was tracked by Liverpool, Tottenham, Roma and Hertha Berlin, but Deila used his contacts to get him to Celtic.

If Rodgers isn't going to use him as a CB, why not give him a chance in his preferred position as a DM a game or two? Thats all I say..

I dont get this fascination with Ajer, everyone pushing for him to start. Let the lad settle in and develop a bit first, hes only 17 ffs. I would go pretty much with the team against Hearts and replace Griffiths with Sinclair. Maybe Janko for Lustig as well.

I would prefer Rogic to start too but there seems to be a consensus that he unbalances the midfield and that he is more of an impact player. My tactics awareness aren't that great so that's why I said half time.

After watching him against Annan I got the impression he needs a lot more game time with the Development Squad before he's ready to step up. He was our least best player that game which doesn't mean he was bad, he was just outshone by the rest of the team who've been playing together a good while. Once he starts shining for them then I'd move him up to the first team because he does look like he'll be a player when he's settled. He played DM for them too, dropping into a 3 defence if I remember rightly so we're not playing him out of position.

There were a few other players in our youth team I think I'd rather give a chance to step up like Ralston, McCart, Nesbitt, Miller. I know they're not DMs but on form they deserve a chance in some position. I'd even like to Wardrop and McCart have a go in DM in the Development Squad.

Eoghan O'Connell on Hearts game:" Always a game you want to play in. A tough place to go and to get the result we did was superb.

EO on no league game this week:"Strange, but we have the game tomorrow night against Motherwell and that’s all we are looking at.

EO: "I have been called upon after we had a few injuries and I have done well in the role I have played and hopefully I can continue.

EO: "Been great for me coming through, to play and get that opportunity and will look to continue on from here.

EO on playing alongside Kolo Toure: "Great. Kolo has played at the highest level for 10-15 years so huge for me to learn from him.

EO: "Need confidence and belief in yourself. Happy with how games have been so far and will look for it to continue.

EO: "I wouldn’t be here if i wasn’t ready to play. Always had that belief.

EO: "Last year was a tough for me. Had injury twice but always had that belief that I was ready to play.

EO: "I made my debut 3 years ago and I have learned a lot being around the place over past few years.

EO: "I know how football is, it can change very quickly and you have to stay on it all the time.

EO: "I know how football is, it can change very quickly and you have to stay on it all the time.

EO: "It’s exciting for me - getting the chance in the team but I know there are players coming back and I have to be at the top level.

JK on injury news: "Kolo had his first 90min so we are monitoring him & will make a decision on him tomorrow.

JK: "@kierantierney1 has a slight shoulder injury and probably a doubt for tomorrow. Shouldn't be a problem for next week.

JK: "Leigh (Griffiths) is suspended, along with Stefan Johansen and Efe Ambrose, but a big squad and players itching to get involved.

JK on @bonesyo "A talented player, shown that in last few games. For a young player, he almost plays with experience.

JK: "Worked with him for a long time. He reads the game well, uses the ball well and wants to defend.

JK: "He has just developed, kept working hard and now getting rewards for that as been terrific in last few games.

JK: "The manager had no hesitation in putting him in as we could have rejigged things and played players out of position.

JK: "He has done great in training, had a good pre-season, looked fit and strong & time right to put him in.

JK: "Up to him now to stay there for as long as he possibly can. A lot of competition there. Just needs to keep performing.

JK: "Important we always look first at our own Academy as we have good players there.

JK: "If you look at the teams at the wkend, we had 4 or 5 players we developed ourselves.

JK: "Kieran Tierney, Eoghan O'Connell, James Forrest, Callum McGregor & Tony Watt was on the pitch as well. What we want to see.

JK: "On top of that you bring in likes of Toure, Dembele alongside the likes of Scott Brown - a great mix.

JK: "We have played different systems and are learning different ways of playing.

JK: "The belief is there, scoring late goals in last 2 games. At a club like Celtic that's massive.

JK on squad strength: "Don't think we are far away. If there are one or two more you can bring in then, perfect.

JK on @patrick7roberts availability for Europe: "Making good progress & rehab going well, might be able to get something out of him

I think Lustig should be rested as well as Toure. Too soon for Erik, Simunovic and Boyata.

    That leaves the man himself.
