FS, you mean you missed Efe's hat trick against Arbroath?

Is the top tier open? Its just suspiciously nearly sold out which hard to believe.

Actually ignore that ive just checked and there couldn't be more seats on sale if they tried

I dont know why Ajer never plays. The games he has played he's been good (in a position he's not even used to play). If he wont be used he should have stayed in Norway or went somewhere else. He is good enough to get some playing time. Very strange...

Most of you dont even mention his name when you put up your wish for the team to play/subs. I hope Rodgers wont waste his talent on the youth team...

Bit of a mixed view on here when it comes to the importance of this one.

I am fully of the opinion that this is a really important game. Perhaps not in terms of the importance of the competition, but with a bunch of big games coming up (Hapoel, A'deen, Hun *), I think it's really important we continue to ride the crest of this wave of confidence we've had since Rodgers took over. Wins help that to continue, and coming off the back of a big win against Hearts, a nice progression into the next round of a domestic cup would be another little boost.

Celtic 3-0 Motherwell (Sinclair, Dembele, Toure)

Like you've said, the importance is really down to momentum and maintaining that. However out of all those games you mentioned then if it came to it I would choose to lose this one if we were to lose any. Confident we'll come out on top though, after playing well against some decent sides over the last few weeks I think Mothwell will be no bother (never even heard of them)

The thing is though mate, we don't have that option. Winning is winning, you don't get to pick and choose.

There's no guarantee that if we lost this then we would win the matches I mentioned there. Let's just batter the lot of them and keep the confidence flowing :50:

He played against annan for the u20s and didnt particularly stand out.. if youre shouting for him to get a game theres about 6 or 7 other youths who could be ahead of him

Id like to freshen it up a wee bit.

    Gordon
    Janko Toure O'Connell Izaguirre
    Brown Bitton
    Christie Rogic Sinclair
    Dembele

Would sub off Toure for Lustig too to give him a rest after an hour or that. Would bring Ajer on for Bitton too for a runout.

I dont think we will though as Rodgers has kept the team very similar in every game even the friendlies, doesnt seem the type to tinker with the starting XI too much so couldnt see him making 5/6 changes.

It should be full strength, other than maybe a couple of changes like Izzy for Tierney and/or Janko for Lustig.

We have a friendly at the weekend for others to get a full 90 or 60 minutes.

Plenty of time to rest players in easier league games. There is one early September against hun oap select team.

    Gordon

    Lustig Toure O'Connell Tierney

    McGregor Brown

    Forrest Rogic Sinclair

    Dembele

Game on Saturday to rest players, try new things out, go out there and pump them. Expect Armstrong and possibly Izzy in for Rogic and KT.

Celtic 3-1 Motherwell (Dembele, McGregor and Sinclair)
