:bbpd: Is that not a bit 'beardist?' Cannot believe that it is only Tuesday, Roll on Saturday and the raising of the Scottish Cup by Scott Brown. Really want to party before, during and after and would quite like some sunshine as well! Is that asking too much?

can't wait for the game. expect a win but it will be tough, wouldn't be surprised if it went to ET to be honest.

Will be a really sweet way to end the season and start the new one.

    I'm going 3-1 celtic AET.

Wilson supposedly isn't fit enough for the Scotland squad... So we might see Cha in instead of him. The nations cup is a diddy tournament though and I'd rather none of our players played in meaningless friendlies.

    Forster

    Cha Majstorovic Loovens Emilio

    Commons Brown Ki Mulgrew

    Hooper Samaras

PS anyone got any spare tickets for the game? Not a season ticket holder because I work every Saturday but I go whenever we don't play on Saturdays.... Got the day off for the cup final and frantically looking for a ticket!

Hey depends where u sit i guess but a reasonable estimate would be 500-600 quid for a season ticket but could be higher depending where u sit, mine is 420 but i get a small discount as a student.

Looks like one member of security staff per Motherwell fan! They have more protection than Lenny!

    My team:

    Forster

    Cha Rogne Mulgrew Izaguirre

    Jaurez Ki
    Brown(c)

    Maloney McCourt
    Hooper

Assuming Wilson isn't fit enough to fill in at right back, I think Cha Du-Ri is more than capable of coming into the team. I'd play Rogne and Mulgrew for lack of anything better. Wouldn't have bombscare Majstorovic anywhere near the team. I'm still haunted by his lack of pace and determination against ICT. Izaguirre hasn't played his best football over the last month, but he deserves to play. That, and who would you replace him with?

I'd like to see Jaurez given more playing time. He's made 5 starts for us this season, for christ-sake. Good player, too. Not sure what the score is with him and Lenny, but I'd play him next to Ki. He can play the Kayal role, breaking up play and hustling the opposition out of possession. Ki is our ball-player in the centre, with Brown sitting in front as a box-to-box midfielder. This should allow us to operate very well, both going forward and in defence.

Maloney is an effective player and if he's available, I'd pick him to start, ahead of Commons. I'd use the Englishman as an impact sub. McCourt to start as Motherwell are so poor in defence, I think he'd have a field day.

Goal hungry Hooper up front on his own. No sense playing Samaras. I'd favour Stokes even, but I'd bring him on in the second half.

Anyway, strongly fancy ourselves to win the cup. A small piece of silverware, but a trophy, nonetheless. Looking for a BIG performance from the Bhoys. Show their value.

    Hail hail!

I'd like to retract my comments that I made the other week about a victory being perhaps hollow. They were made in the aftermath of that depressing Inverness defeat. Since then I've seen a renewed unity and passion amongst the players, management and support and it'll be great to potentially see us lift our first trophy in over two years. I'm sure we'll manage it.

I'll be making a day of it anyway, east stand area F4 for this unrepentant * * :celt_2:
