The young guys need a chance. Ideally we'd mix them in with our strongest starting 11 but today that wasn't possible. I really don't mind dropping the odd point here and there if we end up with some real players next year in the likes of Watt, Twardzik, Irvine etc.

Summed it up perfectly. This is exactly the way I feel too. Europe should be the main focus, as the results in the league will come naturally and without much effort.

You mental? A black manager wouldn't survive two minutes, he'd surely be sacked due to his race! :87:

why was watt moved over to the right when commons came on? surely chasing a win we should have played hooper and watt up front with commons in the hole?

the result is not a disaster by any stretch of the imagination, we'll still obviously run away with the title. just thought that was a bit silly from lenny.

No harm done IMO. Youngster need to learn by their mistakes. IMO we could easily afford to fall well behind as we blood them but still run away with it later in the season.

so we have 2 teams one *, the other cant play 2 games a week if any of our teams cant beat, what is in front of us in the SPL, we haven't got
anything going for us. European nights:56:, the only way we are going to get a draw, that you think is OK. is if we get in the road of shots fired in.

    well said that man

    Summed it up very nicely.

This year is all about blooding the kids and giving them game time, we are going to get draws, but I really dont care. The development of the next team main players is far more important.

We must all see the bigger picture.

Too right Gunt, it's the only way the young guys will learn!

At the end of the day, we're still top with a game in hand on our nearest rivals (probably hearts if as expected they beat dundee tomorrow). Absolutely no need to panic.

Two week break now should also give most of our injured senior players the chance to recover! :50:

    you are a pessimist.

Firstly, it is exciting and excellent to see our young players getting important game time.

We need to use the whole squad to ensure the squad can compete in four competitions.

the 1st team need to be used in the big european games and important league games. they also need to be rested to ensure their bodies given time to repair and recover. its basic sports science.

the cup games should be used for the squad players and young lads to maintain match fitness and experience.

your viewpoint is massive over-reaction and extremely shortsighted. :50:
