    I counted 'only' 27 passes before the goal it seemed more than that at the time, its maybe my age or I need to wear my glasses/move seats :giggle1:

    Consequence of having about 20 midfielders. The balance in the squad still has not been properly addressed. Brendan needs to add a centre half and either give Jack a chance or sign a new striker. Biton played alright today but I'm not convinced and it's a bit * that we don't have a proper replacement available for Leigh.

    Fantastic start to our league defense though. Hail hail.

    Looking through the squad the only guy I would punt is probably Hendo ..no harm to the boy but he must be that far down the pecking order??....and we don't need a 3rd striker when we have shifty.:fear:These are the only 2...biton survives the now because of CB situation.

    Good game today celtic played well.

    Gordon shocking at goal.

    Ntcham will be a player.

    Only worry is the fact lafferty and Isma seemed to get away pace wise from Jozo and bitton a few times, considering Astana have electric pace upfront maybe worth getting Gamboa and Tierney playing at fullback and tucking in to cover the lack of pace at CB.

    Gordon's failure to keep out their goal was poor. Would like to see de vries in goal midweek in cup to see how he performs as he's had a good pre-season:50:

    Personally I thought today was a sign we are starting to be getting nearer and nearer to being on top form, without having to be breathtaking we easily dispatched of them, Griffiths keeps on getting better in my view, says much about Sinclair that he is not at his best yet but still scoring goals.

    McGregor and Broon outstanding today

    Atmosphere was good at times but there was a few long periods of silence, be good to have the GB back and getting it going properley again

    The wee Huns will struggle this season, other than one of their young guys who I couldn't name they looked pish, Lafferty was being a bigger * than ever before and seemed to be more interested in winding folk up than winning a game of football
