Celtic v Hearts - Saturday 3pm.

Can't believe we weren't a few goals up at half time. Second half, Hearts were happy to let us have it and cross it into the box and they dealt with it comfortably. That's where a plan B might be useful... Also, thought the ref had a shocker!

 

If this was Football Manager, I would've switched to a narrow 4-4-2 diamond (4-1-2-1-2) to try and penetrate through the middle, considering the Hearts defenders winning everything in the box from wide crosses. Probably not as simple as that in real life though...

Disappointed with that today. Griffiths should have been making sure he was on side at the end there.

We should not be dropping points at home to anyone in the league.

Should have been 2-3 in the first half. After the 2nd half hearts had 11 men beside the 18 yard box when we attacked. Embarrassing but so was the finishing on show. That disallowed goal looked onside too.

His goals to games ratio this season would come under that category for a striker, yes. It's actually unarguable.

 

Trying to give Ciftci a break, but it's just not worked at all for him so far. Felt a bit confident that he could've showed a bit of physical strength when the game was crying out for it, but he just never seems to be anywhere near the crosses.

 

I was talking about the times our team is playing in and where we are as a club and winning things.

Goals to games ratio is not where it counts, we could get 1 goal every game and still lose or draw, his goals to chance ratio is * pathetic, he is not clinical, he should be bagging so many more goals and he costs us games when he doesnt take his chances like today.

 

And so we should,look at the difference in team budgets,we should be hammering teams like Hearts.
