That game was going absolutely nowhere until big Vic stepped up to the plate with that belting goal. I'm one of his biggest fans but even I didn't think he had that in his locker!

That's the best atmosphere at Paradise against SPL dross for a long while, obviously down to the late nature of the goal and the penalty save - big big save from Forster, well done to him, if it wasn't for that then we'd all be absolutely gutted right now.

Loving the players celebrations at the end, they were over the moon with it, and so they should be.

And to top the day off my wish of a rousing rendition of Go home ya huns came to fruition, not a bad wee day at all! :celt_2:

dont think it did stem from the pen, it was the same guy that landed him a rough tackle towards the end.

fair played to forester but i think he owed us that today if im being honest...

sometimes matches like this can perpel teams to the championship - heres hoping.....the motherwell match a few weeks ago started the fight back and today was a massive psychological victory make no bones through the manner which we won the game.......

keep it going boys - were all behind yous!!

Buzzing after that. Wasn't a great game of football, we seemed to

huff and puff a bit, lacking a bit of cutting edge, due to Hearts putting 11 men behind the ball. Don't kniw which I celebrated more, the goal ir the save! Sat with the GB second half, what an experience. Throat hurts, worth it though.
Hearts were a disgrace today. Every free kick we got it seemed they kicked the ball away, also Maj went down injured at the end, Sammy put the ball out and hearts went and took a long throw! *. And the media had the nerve to complain about our 'gamesmanship' at the penalty!

That save by Fraser at the death could be as important as McGregor's penalty save for them last year.It has a ring of Deja Vu about it, and fair do's to Sammy and Fraser for demanding the ball was on the spot.

Wanyama's strike was top postage corner, unsaveable really.

Aye mate, I thought I had heard that on the radio too after the game, looking at the link in the Fraser Forster thread, the PK is there, the boy tries to steal inches on the spot, it's there for all to see, the media are * for suggesting gamesmanship. As if any player in their right mind would go, "Aye on you go mate, hit it from there if you want".

This is true, and I think rather silly on the part of who placed the ball. It was clearly out of the area and I dont believe it would have given him any advantage at all being a micro inch ahead of the spot. Just prolonged the taking of the penalty. Samaras and Forster were quite right to ask for the ball to be placed properly

Big Sammy played an absolute blinder at the penalty. It always seems harder to score when there's a delay in you getting to take the penalty.

Obviously the ball was off the spot anyway but still Sammy was smart in delaying it being took.

Still buzzing about the save and the result.

    * them and there gamesmanship.stokes and sammy had every right to do what they did.where was the gamesmanship from hearts when it took them over a minute to take a kick out or throw in.

    * the media they are just raging cos they went from the high of the penalty been giving to the low of the miss.us hoops sure know how that feels

    I thought Farts did well.....
Aye,i've gotta give them credit they set their stall oot and surprised me with their performace considering their financial plight but obviously it goes without saying i'm really delighted we managed tae dig oot the result.I reckon Wanyama's strike and Big Forsters penalty save could be crucial in deciding the destination of this years SPL Championship trophy.

    C'mon the Hoops :ynwacelti

So they are actually moaning about us actually wanting the ball to be taken from the penalty SPOT?! :97:

Last thing I knew is that the ball had to be ON the spot - not in front of it. What's next? Being allowed to take a goal kick from the edge of the D at the penalty box?

    Idiots.

gamesmanship did they happen to mention celtic putting the ball out for a celtic player headknock were the ref did not stop game yet in first half we broke away and he stopped game by his own accord even though it clearly was not a headknock and the player was up as soon as game was stopped............wait for it and after we put the ball out late at end of game hearts then piled every player in our box and sent in a long throw dont start me on gamesmanship :31:
