Are they confused now? 3 from 11 would indicate a big * yes. At least 442 would give us a chance in scotland (which is also still in Europe)

Atletico Madrid won La Liga and got to a Champions League final last season playing a 4-4-2 system so that is a myth mate.

To be fair, when they didn't have the ball though, their strikers dropped deep to help the midfield. The intensity and work rate their whole team put into a game, dwarfed pretty much any other team in Europe in my opinion.

I'm worried about Gordon playing against Hertz. He's an excellent goalie BUT he IS a die hard Hertz fan.

My team would be (after that little bit of bitterness :smiley-laughing002:)

    Fasan
    O'Connall-Virgil-Denier-Izaguire
    McGregor*-Johansen-Brown-Wakattack**
    Commons***
    Guidetti****

*Instructed to get to the byline and cross.
**Double up as a holding mid when we're defending the ball.
    ***Free role
    ****STAY IN THE * BOX!!

Would also stress Brown and Johansen drop deep when not in possession of the ball and one can break forward when we do, never both though.

This is what we were promised at the start of the Deila era. Pressing when we don't have the ball and fast passing when we do. Haven't seen either yet :smiley-laughing002::smiley-laughing002::bbpd:

We have in some games I think. Reykjavik at Murrayfield, and Dundee Utd at home. We also played a lot of good stuff at home to Aberdeen. I still think we seriously lack creativity in the team.

Reykjavic was a naebdy and there was something about the DUTD game, fergus, full house, flag unveiled ect. Performance was always going to be good.
    Aberdeen was harrowing mate.

I'm not sure why you just can't state your opinion on Ronny and leave it at that?

Does insulting people who don't agree with your opinion make you feel good.

Make you sound like a bit of a * tbh.

I think we should give Ronny more time personally although I am concerned that I've not seen more progress than I would have expected.

You can only beat what is in front of you mate. Against Reykjavik, we pressed the game very well that night.

Putting the good performance against Dundee Utd down to it being flag day is nonsense in my opinion. I seem to remember us struggling in the past on opening days when we have unfurled the flag. Gordon Strachan said it was the best home debut he had ever seen, that is some compliment. Against Aberdeen, we should have been out of sight in the first half. We totally dominated.

Not solely down to flag day but with the Bunnet in attendance it certainly did help but there was something about it. Same as Barca and the 125 aniversary. Events like that can always boost the spirits of fans and players. I get that about KRR mate but we should be dominating teams like that.

King Kenny and Henrik. Proud to have seen them both play.
Well, here's hoping for a more 'Dundee United' performance than a first half against Motherwell one.
A strong team, preferably with no Biton, should be able to do the job.
It has to start clicking soon. Surely!?!?!

I agree that we should be dominating teams like Reykjavik, but you still have to do it. We played with a much higher tempo though, and I was impressed with that. Of course I expected us to win, and quite comfortably, but it was the way we went about our business that I was most happy with. As I said previously, some games I think we have played well, and others I think we have been dreadful.

It still doesn't detract from the fact the 11 plus have to go out and still do the business, infact those obstacles you put forward can have the pressure of an opposite effect..

When we're negative it's fine to be negative but when we're very good to excellent we still are too happy to be negative..
    Not all of us though..
