At the same time, I’ve not seen any decent runs to make space for themselves in the box for him to hit as well. That’s a leftover from last season, where the ball needs to be perfect to work rather than making the room through clever movement.9

He's a split opinion on here.
I like him and think he didn't get any help last season. First half season the defence was woeful, then he got hung out to dry by the manager.

I'm willing him to get a good chance and to improve

Most of the younger player seem suited to this style, maybe due to the extra training time with Ange. Positive as I think we will need a few younger ones to step up this season

That was a poor pass, he was blatantly offside.

Have Charlton had possession for even 10 secs?

Playing really well but it's painful watching attacks die with Taylor and Ralston.

Ralston was a much better option than Jonjoe Kenny.

Its.not even so.much his pressing its his quickness of pass. I dont expect him to to.match their press but he's taking too many touches.for me. Not really a complaint tho I know its early days for everyone

We need to find 2 quality full backs, what a difference it would make.

Not sure about the keeper playing in between the 2 centre half's when playing the ball around the back
